11 Industrial Units

This is a common problem and I hope that Chugginator might do something about this...

That would be sweet if someone stepped forward and fixed these Japanese Industrial units from the "black shader of death" problem.

Are you sure? I had a look at it and it's using the wrong shader in sceneviewer (I didn't check in game though). I'll attach the fix for it here in case it's needed (the black was only in the civlopedia right?).

Well, it has been awhile since I last messed with trying to add these Japanese units, and I forgot exactly which units were messed-up... but I know the Rifleman and Cavalry were messed up, and if I couldn't get them to work I wouldn't bother with the matching cannon...

I downloaded the Cavalry and Rifleman fix, and they both worked as they should... I then checked-out the cannon (prior to your fix) and it showed-up in the civilopedia too... so it's possible the cannon was never broke, but I just didn't use it because I couldn't get the others to work.
 
Hi guys. I really like the Chinese style soldiers you made! They are awsome!
Cause these units are of Manchurian Styles, I am looking for some conventional ones. The really chinese soldiers would be wearing hat and uniforms like Chukonu. I am eager to see some units like that, using a rifle or pistole, and riding a horse.
I could use them in my Colonization mod for new china!

yes, use the appropriate animation. Works for me with Art/Units/Rifleman/Rifleman.kfm (even though this is the most obvious one to use, so I would have thought you might have given that one a try)

I did not sure whats going on but let me try again. Hey I am sorry guys I feel like an idiot, every unit looks great. Hey this might explain why my galleas does not sink...ha ha...it just disappears.

I am having a problem with the Japanese cannon the cannonier is just a black form. I think the dds files are not being applied any way to fix this? The chinese cannon and cannonier both look fine though. Thanks for help
 
I have had a problem with the Jap cannon. The cannonier does not show up, only in a dark unit model format. I used cannon kfm, but how come the dds files in the unit folder to reskin the cannonier do not work? The chinese cannon is fine but I cannot get the japanese one to work. The cannon looks fine just not the gunner.
 
Fixed (took less than 5 mins, it was the shader as i said before).

By the way Chuggi I use your terrain for all my mods, it makes the game look awesome.

Chuggi is long gone, post #47 contains the fix for the cannon though :)
