Did you type the wrong name? I posted them already.

13 June
Algeria vs Slovenia 0:1
Serbia vs Ghana 2:1
Germany vs Australia 2:0

Sorry, you're right. I misread my own spreadsheet. You only had 6 predictions, but of course that was because you missed the first day :wallbash:

And Park Ji-Sung!

For the moment at least, joncha (who predicted that) is laughing at all the Messi and Rooney voters ;)

Algeria 2-1 Slovenia
Serbia 1-1 Ghana
Germany 3-0 Australia

Netherlands 1-0 Denmark
Japan 2-2 Cameroon
Italy 1-1 Paraguay

New Zealand 0-2 Slovakia
Côte d'Ivoire 1-2 Portugal
Brazil 4-0 Korea DPR

Honduras 1-3 Chile
Spain 3-0 Switzerland

A few changes to mine.

Lots of points earned today by many, but Zoid once again did better than anyone, jumping slightly ahead of chegel. The rest of the pack follows after azzaman holding down 3rd place.

For tomorrow, I need predictions from Darth_Pugwash, warpus and chegel.

Note for UKers: kick-off for first match of the day for the group stages is 12:30 BST. Apparently some British sources list the match times in local South African time, which is an hour later, and several UKers have missed deadlines over this confusion already.

14 June
Netherlands vs Denmark 3:0
Japan vs Cameroon 2:1
Italy vs Paraguay 0:0

15 June
New Zealand vs Slovakia 2:2
Côte d'Ivoire vs Portugal 1:2
Brazil vs Korea DPR 3:0

Wow I should have stuck with my initial pessimistic prediction in the Socceroos game.

14 June picks in good time. :p

Netherlands 2-0 Denmark
Japan 0-1 Cameroon
Italy 1-1 Paraguay

June 14:

Netherlands-Denmark: 1-0
Japan-Cameroon: 1-1
Italy-Paraguay: 2-0

Hey Infantry#14, good to have you join. You can still predict a world champion and top scorer if you want, just pick from countries that haven't played yet (e.g. Netherlands, Brazil, Spain). Same for group winners/runners-up: ATM you can still predict those for groups E-H if you want.

Given that I only have a limited choice, I will pick Brazil. I think the prediction for world champion is best at the beginning of the knockout round. I mean many teams in the 32 qualifers have no chance becoming world champion (ie NKorea).

Changed this one again:

Italy 1-0 Paraguay

New Zealand 0-2 Slovakia
Côte d'Ivoire 1-2 Portugal
Brazil 4-0 Korea DPR

Honduras 1-3 Chile
Spain 3-0 Switzerland

South Africa 1-1 Uruguay

Argentina 3-2 Korea Republic
Greece 0-2 Nigeria
France 1-1 Mexico

Germany 2-0 Serbia
Slovenia 0-1 USA
England 2-1 Algeria

Netherlands 3-1 Japan
Ghana 1-2 Australia
Cameroon 1-0 Denmark
