Yeah, in a way I feel like Sabean kind of stumbled into the WS win in spite of what he did. Not a knock of the 2010 squad--they deserved it, they won it fair and square and every WS winner has a lucky game and a lucky break here and there on the way to their victory. They were a confident and clutch bunch and they still have that swagger this year, too. Since their pitching is solid they could do it again, and having Beltran certainly makes them better.
BUT, looking back at that team on paper it's pretty amazing they were able to do it. I mean, Renteria, Uribe, Huff, Burrel, Rowand... bleh.

I guarantee that if there is a call like that that decides the outcome of game seven in the World series, we will hear it from every where about the need of replays. Even Cricket, the game of traditions has been using replays for contentious decisions for awhile now. Adding replays do decisions like that should not take too much extra time in the game.

saw timmy keep the phightin's in check last night at CBP. had kewl seats just off to foul territory of the RF pole. i had a neat conversation with a gentleman while waiting in line for some crab fries. we discussed how unfortunate it is that timmy makes $13M a year and still can't find a dentist
