2012 NFL Offseason

Did he get injured or something?

Drew is PO'd now because it apparently never occurred to him that signing a front
loaded contract meant that the back end was lower pay. I hope the Jags don't
trade him.

If you meant Gabbert, it's probably because losing Jones-Drew would mean that DC's would declare
open season on Gabbert with no running game to worry about.

Regardless of division, flying trans-Atlantic, at minimum, for a road game seems excessive.

London to LA is kinda brutal. London to Boston isn't much worse than Boston to LA.

Presumably you'd schedule the road games in large chunks so they could acclimate to the new timezone.

I agree, and don't understand the infatuation with London.

I think it's part of the NFL's fantasy of becoming a world-wide sport, rather than just accepting that being a part of U.S. culture is good enough.

London/Europe is an enormous media market if you can break into it. The sheer size of that should be more than enough to explain the European fantasy.

So which backup QB free agent will the Cardinals do a panic pickup on (either after camp cuts
this season or next offseason)?
