2012 NFL Offseason

That is the weirdest draft strategy I've ever seen. Because RB usually has so little consistency from year to year, the 3-5 RBs who can be relied upon to produce (barring serious injury) are like gold.

Conversely you can get QBs 5-10 in rounds 4-7, and there are so many decent WRs it's barely even funny.

I prioritized Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles last year to hilarious results. Blue chip quarterbacks are usually more reliable than blue chip runningbacks.

You speak as if all other positions don't vary, too.

The thing is, the difference in points between a McCoy or Rice and a guy like Blount or Murray is probably larger than Rodgers to Ryan. So it seems to me that getting a top tier RB is very important.

As for Foster, Tate is probably gonna start eating more into his carries. Houston is built to run the ball, so they don't really care whether it's Tate or Foster who's running the rock.

Beware of sophomore slumps in your QBs. (I'm looking at you, Cam.)

Don't count your Super Bowl rings before they're casted. :p I'd beware of the slump until he's made it past the first few regular season games.

I know this might be Blasphemy but I'd take LeBron now over Bird in his prime.

Back to Football:
Who do you guys think I should pick if I end up getting 1st pick in my fantasy draft?

Now that Peyton Manning is a sort of unknown, a top 5 RB, barring scoring differences.

Griffin wasn't particularly sparkling in this game, but that's to be expected from only his first half-game of his NFL career.

In the meantime, Kirk Cousins is doing pretty well against the Bears' camp fodder. Let the quarterback controversy begin!

I'm kinda apologizing for hijacking your thread guys, so just move on if uninterested, but I stumbled accross this clip collection today and figured you guys might enjoy the brutality (to be blunt). It's Rugby League, not Rugby, a different sport and I just thought this collection was a cracker. There is a bit much fighting early on which is only of minor interest but give past the first minute and there are some awesome hits.

Nice team... is that the same one in our 12 Team League? :mischief:

Or that Nick Foles was a wasted draft pick?
Oh, yeah. And you know why Cousins was a bust? Because his first throw was an interception. And we all know that that's what defines someone as being a bust or not. I mean, look at how badly Brett Favre busted. I mean, he couldn't even take his team to the Super..... Whoops.

So apparently MJD is on the trading block.

This is what I get for defending the Jaguars.
