Sweden is distressed to hear of fighting breaking out between New England and the communists in the Americas, and especially the naval battles taking place in the Caribbean Sea. As such, Sweden will send naval vessels to safeguard our colonies and protect them from the war as much as possible. Any foreign naval vessel that attempts to interfere with Swedish claims in the area will by turned away. If the said vessel refuses to, they will be fired upon unless they have proper, written permission from the King of Sweden [Sweden's Allies] to be there. Otherwise, there will be no exceptions to the rules, and aggressive/hostile actions towards Swedish territories will be punished.

We are sorry that the naval incident off Long Island had to happen. We belive it was due to the over zealous officer in charge off those ships, who was ordered to prevent any armed ships from bringing contraband into Pennsylvania to support New Jersey rebels. However, we must warn you that until these rebels are put down any unathourized armed ship from New England that enters Pennsylvanian waters off the coast of New Jersey and refuses to leave will be fired upon.

I'm making a recommendation based on some previous and currently ongoing wars. I'd highly suggest that someone from the alliance be on AIM about two hours after each update deadline has passed. This person may find themselves in charge of a real time war effort. This will not only be fun for the person/people doing it, but will dramatically help your chances in any possible conflict. If you are in a war I will let you know via PM shortly after I post the "no further order revisions allowed" post. This will give you maybe an hour or so to get the message and come online.
Now by posting this I am not implying that a war is around the corner, and indeed this is mostly directed towards New England and the ISCG. The rest of you may consider it a possible course to plan for.
