From The Empire of Germany
To Afonso Pena

Germany has done much for the Brazilian people, we have poured our hearts into trying to develop, stabilize, and aid your nation. We have restrained ourselves to the very limit in not using force of any kind. Our conditions are as follows

1. The Provisional Socialist Government of Brazil well again return to the Imperial German Protectorate, in return Germany shall again aid the Brazilian people.

2. No harm shall come to German business located in Brazil and they shall be allowed to continue business.

3. The immediate return of any and all land previously owned by German persons and the return of any currency taken from German persons in the nationalization of banks and seizure of funds from private banks.

4. Repayment of half the aid which Germany has given to the people of Brazil. No interest shall be charged.

We think this is an extremely generous offer, for the German government has worked extremely hard and put forth much effort into stabilizing Brazil. We have been nothing but kind.

The Provisional Government rejects this offer.

Being a German protectorate for the last two decades has led to nothing but suffering for the Brazilian people. German support first for a repressive and authoritarian regime and then for an incompetent one has clearly demonstrated that such an arrangement is detrimental to Brazil.

More specifically, it is the socio-economic system perpetuated by the ruling classes with German help that has created the current crisis. It is clear that the situation did not develop overnight but is instead the result of misguided capitalist practices that benefited only the ruling class. Since German land ownership and businesses were part of this problem they are not exempt from the solution and there will be no compensation.

Lastly, the German aid in stabilizing the country obviously did nothing for the common people of Brazil and was squandered by the incompetent regime that Germany chose to support following the first revolution. It is unfortunate that Germany made such a bad choice three years ago, but the people of Brazil are not responsible for repaying Germany for aid that never got to them.

We can guarantee that no German people will be hurt and that we will organize a smooth transition for German businesses and landowners. Should they chose to stay they will be welcome to do so under the new system, otherwise they will be free to leave for Germany.

We hope that we can develop a relationship with Germany that is beneficial to both Germany and the people of Brazil as long as Germany is willing to view Brazil as an equal partner.

You slant the arraignments against us. This is blatant slander: no mention of Virginia's attack and annexation of Miami? No mention of France herself and her own attempts to coordinate peace in North America? Were it not for us war would have long ago broken out and dedicated Louisianan soldiers would be breaking down your door. We ask that you briefly consider who are the real warmongers here, and who are the real arbiters of peace and stability.

Mexico does applaud French efforts in attempting to maintain peace in North America however your allies in the region seem bent on war and destruction. We do sympathize with Quebec and believe that Canada should be punished in some way for their actions but we believe that New Jersey should also be punished for their invasion of Pennsylvania.

While Virginian aggression may be a concern the Miami incident has been a one off while there have now been 4 French incidents of aggression in such a short time.

We do not take kindly the words of Louisianan invasion but we do hope that France can reign in Louisiana to ensure that the Louisianans do not attempt another war of aggression in the region.

To Louisiana
CC: The World
From Deseret

Deseret officially recognizes Louisiana as an independent nation.

France must be kicked out of American affairs. It is clear they are not up to the task of maintaining the peace here. Louisiana (a former French protectorate) invades Texas not last year. Sauk invades and annexes Fox. New Jersey invades Pennsylvania and finally Quebec declares war on Canada. Please tell me this is not all of France's Protectorates declaring/waging/ending wars in the last 2 years? It is time America be left to Americans!

Throw off the yokes of your overlord (France) and band together against France!

To those Concerned in Sauk-Fox war
From Deseret

Deseret refuses to allow France in to assist the Fox in any way... leave this to those who live in America and is free of the French yoke.

We refuse to go to Italy as it is a waste of good cash to sail there when it is cheaper to host the talks in a nearby nation. We have been doing it in Deseret already.

In other news, Deseret will agree to the terms only if France is not included in the talks or peace terms. We refuse to work with those satanists anymore.

The Iroquois Republic hereby recognises the Empire of Louisiana as the legitimate government, completely independent of the French Empire.

Well you objectivity just went out the window didn't it? And I mean really Italian wine and food would make a peace treaty so much more likely.

To Italy
From Deseret

We meant no offense, I am just merely stating that it is cheaper to host them here than there. But if the American nations wish to spend several thousand more dollars to sail to Italy and attend the talks there, then they can do so. But for many of them, it is only a train ride to Deseret from Virgina, Sauk, and Canada (for the Fox and Canadian representatives). Though France is now barred from entering the talks.

To France, New England and Virginia

Since discussion seems to be deadlocked we would like to make one last effort to seal a proposal before its too late.

We hope that we might agree on these core principles, we can discuss more in depth resolutions in the near future.

Fox-Sauk Conflict Resolution Treaty
  1. Re-Establishment of the Fox Nation
  2. Right of Return of Fox refugees and Isanti right to Immigrate to Fox.
  3. Blanket pardon to everyone involved in the Fox war of aggression against the Sauk.
  4. The Native American Alliance will be allowed to send 6000 observers to Sauk and Fox territories to monitor the situation.

The man breathed heavily, he is looking towards the north where a small haze can be seen in the distance, besides him stood a soldier bearing the rank of Sergeant. The Sergeant pointed towards the haze and said, "Smoke, sir. Most likely from a fire." The unknown man breathed heavily again and turned around, now he faced a whole brigade of infantry, each man seemed to be holding his breath waiting for the man to speak, but the man just stepped down and walked towards the headquarters. The troops visibly upset began milling about bored out of their minds, several of them watched the great man walk away with his protection. One of them, a Private Johnson, nearly whispered, "He looks older, don't he?" The others nodded, the man seemed alive and energetic last year, but now he was visibly depressed and distant. Even his troops felt the sour mood despite his great reputation. The private spoke again, "I wonder why he wanted to come here and look out there?" The other soldiers simply shrugged and walked towards the mess hall, they had a busy day of drilling later and they wanted to eat.

The man arrived outside the General's headquarters and motioned for the detail to stop, he entered the tent and spotted the general hunkered down over a map of America. The man spoke softly, "Well General Smith, what do we have in front of us?" The general barely heard him until he heard a footstep and he spun around surprised to see the man standing in front of him. "Oh, sir... sorry I was not aware you were coming today. Can I help you, sir?"
"Yes could you please tell me what is happening around us?"
"Well sir, it appears the Sauk has completely overran the Fox, the entire nation is under occupation as we speak. The entire American sphere is abuzz as New Jersey recently invaded Pennsylvania and Quebec declared war on Canada.... oh and Louisiana just declared independent from France."
The man staggered and the general rushed to his side and guided him to a chair, "Thank you general. I take it all of these nations are in one way or another related to France?"
"Yes sir, all are French protectorates."
"My God." The man quickly countered by replying, "Forgive me Lord for taking your name in vain. Has France gone mad? Or even her protectorates?"
"It appears that way, sir."
"Well it appears I have a mess on my hands and I will need to sort it out."
"I wish there was some way I could help you, Mr. President."
"As do I my good friend... as do I."

Joseph Salt stood up and walked towards his detail and after a quick look around the camp mounted his horse and rode straight back to Bringhamton. He had nations to talk to and try to avoid an American bloodbath. Perhaps the word of the Lord will help him. He will pray hard for all nations tonight and ask for the Lord's help in the upcoming struggles.

Deseret will accept this treaty.

The Fox can agree to the four points expressed by the Sauk. As long as the Isanti are not FORCED to move to our lands.
