A moment for Strider

This may sound like a stupid question, but...

Are we really sure, his girlfriend even exists? Anybody can pretend to be somebody else, even pose as their own girlfriend.

It would seem to me the simplest way to confirm his injuries is to have his girlfriend post his name, the hospital he's in and the phone number of the hospital. That way anyone who wishes to verify the injuries (or send get well cards/flowers...) can contact the hospital for his room number and to verify he's there.

I doubt he's got the resources to fake a hospital switchboard, so I'd be pretty convinced of his injuries if I could confirm it this way.

Other options would be to find a local paper on-line posting regarding the accident and having an independent, third party confirm the injuries.

If it's all a hoax, I probably would refuse to have any dealings with him in the future. To quote Mr Scott "On Earth, we have a saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

Well it's pretty obvious that if this is a fake then his g/f is probably made up.

I am now almost certain that this was fake because his supposed g/f hasn't posted anything in 3 days and doesn't seem to have said anything in the chatroom either.

Maybe his girlfriend just doesn't have anything new to report or is doing more important things than talking to Strider's dorky message board friends? ;)

Really nothing but time will tell whether or not this was a fake, we're just going to have to sit by unless anyone can find any solid proof of anything.

Personally I don't really have a stance on whetehr it's real or fake, it could easily be either, this is the internet, after all.

With all this accusations on strider. I still beleve that Strider's Story still checks out.

@The Commander - it just doesn't make sense, going from making regular posts (every few hours) to none at all.

I like denyd's idea to confirm things, but I don't think anyone can contact her, can they?

I'm still unsure as well CG, but it does seem really dodgey.

In Strider's profile, it says one of his 'handles' is BrianBlack20. Do a search on:
"Brian Black" St louis, then click on the KMOV.com result. You have to register.

On that site, it says that he saved his big sister's life in January of this year. He told me once that all of his sisters died a couple of years ago (:( if true)
That means, if this is the same Brian Black, then he is lying --- which i'm still unsure about.

Another thing: Why would Doe continuously go over to Striders house to update us? From what i've gathered, she lives quite far away. As Strider has said that he needed to go Pick Doe up -- in one of his 5 sports cars ;) This incinuates that she lives quite far away. And to come over to his house every day would then be astonishing.

Saying all of this, I am still unsure.

I do have to say that I doubt that it's the same Brian Black. But to go over to his house every day, get online, and post about this as well as to talk in the chatrooms also makes no sense for her to do, especially if she lives far away.

Well, if you are performing an investigation, don't forget to check for shared spelling or gramatical mistakes.

If all of this is invented, consider the reasons why someone might make up such a story. To challenge them or pass condemnation might not be the most helpful policy.

Where does Strider live?

He doesn't live in saint louis, I said just outside :p
There's no reason why he would lie about that anyways...

I've observed quite a few of them. For instance, in the post I linked to, "sense" was used in place of "since," which is one of his trademark errors. Also, some errors that "Doe" made in the chatroom, taken straight from the chatlog:

[16:43] <Doe> and there expecting a week untill they let him out

Getting the wrong form of "there" is something Strider as well as quite a few others do. The doubled l at the end of "until" is another of Strider's trademark spelling errors.

[15:47] <Doe> Worried about brain damage sense he hasn't said anything

Another error replacing "sense" with "since"

[21:33] <Doe> Also, they don't think there going to have to amputate his arm....

Wrong form of "their" again.

[21:18] <Doe> Is there anyway that I can know if any of you want me? Like alittle pop-up?

Two more trademark errors that Strider makes, but few others do. "Anyway" was used instead of "any way" and "alittle" instead of "a little." Strider frequently combines words that shouldn't be combined, particularly "a" with the word after it ("alittle" is a perfect example).

[21:01] <Doe> Getting worst, and they found out a piece of glass dug it's way into his heart

"Worst" shouldn't be used in this context (Strider makes errors like this sometimes; it should be "worse") and the contraction "it's" is used incorrectly (though this is a common error in many people, Strider makes it all the time).

[20:53] <Doe> I don't think that's a good thing... sense there operating

Again, "sense" used incorrectly, wrong form of "their."

As can be seen, they share a huge number of grammar errors.

For conspiracy theorists only

Afaik, (emphasis)

A driver of 15 yrs in St.Louis must be accompanied by a 21yr old passenger.

Strider could ofcource flaunt that law without emmediate side effect, but to be caught would result in suspension of the license until 18 yrs of age.

Police are informed of all details pertaining to an accident. Thus to be in an accident while flaunting the law means definately being caught.

Doe said he would still be able to drive. For that to be true, he must not have broken the law.

Either...

1) Strider has lost his license
2) There was a 21+ yr old passenger

Did we hear about a 21+ yr old passenger?

He told me because he was an orphan, he was allowed to drive. Besides that, he does look quite old for his age (if that was his real picture ;))

No, we did not hear about that.
The more I read this the more I am starting to think that this crash is some joke to grab attention.

Also, Strider claimed to be involved in a minor accident shortly before his major one. If he was violating his license, it would have been invalidated then.

He claims, however, to be operating under a "hardship license" because he is orphaned (and that he has been doing so since he was 14). However, a quick check on Google revealed that Missouri does not have such a law for underage minors, just for people who have lost their license because of past driving offenses.

My information on that may not be completely accurate, however.

I don't know but, Why is everyone thinking this? Maybe he is really hurt, And he read this later, What will he think?!? =\
erm.. I still believe it.. :crazyeye:, Everyone is thinking that he's lying.. or not?
