I just wanted to point out that I've been suspisious about Striders credability for about 2 years or so. Or about almost the entire time he's been in the chatroom.

I've been in the chatroom longer then any of the regular visitors now, and I've heard alot from this young man.

I've always had a "Well, it could be true, but I don't really believe it. And I'll play along" - Attitude.
And I've never really shared it with anyone, until recently, when I became friends with a recent regular, and now half-op named THATinkjar. He shared his suspisions with me about it some months ago about somethings Striders been saying (Obviously not this accident), and consider THATinkjar is a relatively new addition to the regular chatroom users, he raised his suspicions rather quickly and was not afraid to share them with me.

The list of things Strider's been saying, I've had a hard time believing. I've never said anything to him about it. Not openly, i've hinted it sometimes a while ago, etc. But never as straigtforward asa I'm doing now, and as I've been doing in the chat.

Strider is logged into the chat, so he can read the log if he wish, I'm not someone who talks behind peoples back, per se. (Supposedly as Doe, his girlfriend, on Striders computer).

Well... that's it. Now it's said, and on print.

Something I'd like to point out about CT's timeline, which is based on chat logs and forum timestamps...it debunks any chance that Strider's GF got the time of the accident wrong (she was in the chatroom seven minutes after Strider's succession game post) and she posted just as Strider would have in that thread, using terms that should have been unfamiliar like "CT/WF" while she supposedly didn't know anything about CFC. She made her lack of CFC knowledge well known after her entrance into the chatroom. She didn't even mention Strider's condition in the SG forum post.

I read the thread, and the first thing I thought: probably not true....
Why?
Too much bad-luck: lost his brother, his parents, and his gf, according to a post by Rik Meleet, iirc.... Simply implausible.

I just saw this ; if it happened, then my prayers are with him. I've never talked to him, but it sounds pretty bad.

If it didn't, ...well. I'm reminded of an article I read about the supposed "death" of an Everquest player a few months back. Who knows? Online we're all ones and zeroes.

I'm in the same predicament. If I think Strider's faking this, and he's not, I'll feel horrible. However Bootstoots certainly has done some excellent detective work. Perhaps a Murder She Wrote II?

Well apparently, his Girlfriend has been resurrected!

My guess is, Strider may never post here again.

EDIT: Then again, maybe he never did have a girlfriend.
