Great, thanks. You did see my post about the improved info about the Heavy Gates and ZoC, right? I used your save to test it. ;)
 
I've made it much, much more clear why a unit can't enter the city. I now have similar messages for unit movement blocked by ZoC.

I captured a great corporal; the unit can not make use of allied roads like usual, but is affected by my roads. very minor issue, but something seems not quite right.
 
"Its" does not have an apostrophe when it's a pronoun - "its gatehouse" :)
 
there's something that doesn't seem right about the alliance on the scoreboard, namewise, it seems inconsistent to me. why does one get named after the alliance but the other not?

Yep. I guess I need to force it to update the names when the number of team members change.

You don't get the detailed feedback, since unlike a C++ parser, an english parser doesn't fall over and die when you make a mistake. It's more like HTML that way. :)
 
Minor comment: Usury "looks" like it's a pre-req for banking on the tech tree, but in reality, the arrow goes underneath Usury from Guilds to the Banking Tech. Shouldn't Usury be a pre-req for Banking?

Reading the xml file, it looks like the PreReq for Banking is Guilds OR Usury (and Currency). IDK, this has always confused/bugged me slightly. I think it should be Guilds AND Usury AND Currency.

Obviously not critical, just thought I'd throw it out there...
 
I usually don't get this far in a game, so I don't know if this is a bug or not. if I have built an oil power plant successfully, is there any reason I wouldn't be able to build an oil refinery?

Not that I know of. Are you sure you have all the prerequisites?

does it have to be on a river? it doesn't say so, but as i look at the civilopedia, neither does the levee. I guess that's the bug report then..

9 cities, all coastal, none on rivers. guess I need to go conquering.
 
Yes, there will be Civilopedia text that shows for all buildings that require rivers. You can already reveal Coastal Buildings in the A New Dawn settings.

just seems like if you're doing rivers, it would be almost copy/paste to do coastal, and it would be nice to see them both browsing the civilopedia.
