Okay, yes, the comment on TLO was a bit of a screw-up. Sorry about that, in retrospect I shouldn't have said that, or at least not worded it that way. I may have also made a mistake at the end- TFA gave Romanichine the entirety of his credits (38 in all) the night before he died. Roman, did TFA tell you about this? I sometimes didn't mention credits transfers to the recipients because I figured they'd already know anyway, and there wasn't anything new to say, and I never quoted one player's PM in a PM sent to another player if the other player didn't recieve the original message also. This might have had a bit of an impact if Roman didn't know about TFA's gift and I should have told him about it, and his comments make me think this happened and I didn't figure that out until it was too late to do anything about it. If I screwed up on this, and Roman would have voted classical if I told him about this, then I might have just cost the innocents the game through GM error.
On the other hand, the Sith between them on the final day had more money than that (39 credits between the 3 of them) and could have bought out his vote if they really wanted to, and TFA did it for the lulz, he never said he was trying to get Roman's vote. I honestly don't know what would have happened, or what should have been done here.
Because of TFA's gift, the final credits totals: Niklas: 78 Romanichine: 114, so Romanichine wins.
As to replacing TLO, we had several people in need of replacements, we actually got to him around the same time we got to Seon and Ras. We REALLY didn't want to replace or WoG a mafia, true, but since we were letting the Sith use each other's abilities when one or more of them wasn't around due to how much they were gone (classical and thomas disappeared at the beginning, john disappeared later and then TLO disappeared). We didn't WoG john when he was gone like Andres did on the org because we knew why we wasn't there, and his lack of night abilities meant his inactivity didn't matter anyway. TLO's would have, though, and after a while, his continued inactivity would have made him less suspicious then a new person replacing him if the Sith kept killing people.
Greivous and Vader could have indeed been powerful. A lot of powerful stuff was never used, like Double A's ability or Winston's ability. Other things were wasted, like CivGeneral's Activity Scans, or Remake's Self-Protection, or Bad Player's Protection ability. Just for how bad he was at protecting people alone accounts for a lot of why the innocents lost- letting Earthling die, letting landlubber die (though, in all fairness, protection didn't work on the Death Star anyway), protecting Niklas every night when he wasn't in any danger of being attacked, the list goes on and on. He was by no means the only innocent who made plenty of bad moves, but he certainly lived up to his name.
It's funny, really- around half-way through the game when the Empire started all dying out, the Sith weren't looking very good either, and the innocents were strong, Zack and I thought there was no way the innocents could lose at this point. Then you went through several days of really bad moves, and the Sith coasted on home.
