I'll continue to use CP/VP regardless, since it's a spanking good mod/patch, and the fact that JFD's civs and mods depend on it totally doesn't have any influence on my decision.

Neither is correct, it's "paw-poo-lee". I don't know why these sites promote such an english bastardization of the pronunciation if it's an obviously latin term.

I know I won't change anything, but I'll throw in my two last pennies:
Vox Populi sounds like it's the larger mod. Fancy Latin names tend to be associated with something grander. In contrast, CBO as an acronym suggests something more basic, austere, not deserving a full name, and doesn't represent that it's derived from or built upon the base Patch.
Although I can live with that just by thinking it's a Vommunity Patch, changing the mental image from CP to VP. It's a much more pleasant acronym after all.
