A petition to reorganize Other Games

The technical guys are still looking at a possibility to automatically tag/prefix the threads before moving them.

I have volunteered to manually edit the threads if automatic does not work out, at the rate of around 100 a day it would take me around 3 weeks.

ainwood and PeteK think the have figured out how to automatically add prefixes to the threads before moving them. This will require closing each of the sub fora for a few hours while it is being done.

I made the following changes to the OTHER GAMES section of the site:

* Created a new subforum named Other Civ-Related Games.
* Moved the following subforums of All Other Games to this new subforum: Master of Orion ([MOO]), Call to Power Series ([CTP]), Galactic Civilizations II ([GCII]), and Rise of Nations ([RoN]). The items in parens are prefixes that can be used to identify the origin of the threads in the new subforum.
* Created a new subforum named Other Sid Meier Games.
* Moved the following subforums of All Other Games to this new subforum: Colonization ([Col]), Sid Meier's Pirates! ([Pir]), and Sid Meier's Railroad! ([RR]). The prefixes have the same purpose as above.
* Merged the former Spore forum into the general All Other Games forum. These posts can be identified by the prefix [Spore].
* Made Chess a subforum of Other Games.

Some of the forums were closed for a couple of hours, but are now open for posting. Please post here if you run into any problems or have any questions.

There are some stickies from the subforums left over in the AOG forum, and should probably be unstickied.
Else seems fine .

Thanks for the feedback. I noticed the old stickies and wanted to see if anyone else would comment on them. So, any objections to "de-stickying" the Spore stickies in All Other Games?

I very much like this, so much nicer! Thank you very much for finally getting around to doing it! Glad you were able to automate at least some of it. There are still three Spore stickies in AoG.

Just a couple more things, could the Total War subforum be merged into AoG?

I think Total War will stand on its own for a while longer.
