A Request to the Mods

Maybe it's just not possible, but I've always been impartial to putting a LINK to this place under "Civ IV - Stories and Tales", leading to the exact same place without moving it. But hey, you voted on it. ^^; I can't recall if I was here for that, but I would have suggested such then...oh well.

Why are people so conservative?
Moving to Civ4 is obviously the right thing to do.

I guess I don't see why NES'ing should suffer as a hobby because we won't take the minor pains necessary to make a link on C4. That said I respect the majority decision of senior NES'ers... even if it's normally the position of ee... well nothing. Tons of respect... had too much fun here. :-)
 
Toteone, if you would read why I want to keep them here, it would make sense to you. And you would know that we wouldnt let it suffer.

Either way, maybe there isn't MUCH of a reasonable argument for staying, but I am yet to see much of a reasonable argument for leaving neither.
 
it would take a while for some of us conservative old people to get used to clicking the new Civ4 forum for the NESs. i know i'd b forgetting all the time. like "what? locked? who the hell violated forum rules on my NES?"

If we did switch forums, yes, it would take time to get used to clicking on a different link. But not long ago they go rid of the forum link on the civfanatics page that I always used, but I eventually got used to using the other forum link. If we stayed here, in Civ3 directory, we would slowly die. This is fairly certain, as not many people will come to the Civ3 directory after a Civ4's been out for a hand full of months. I think we should move, because it really wouldn't be much of a hassle, but that's just my 2 cents cause I didn't get a vote before.
 
Simply have it on your favorite bar. Case closed :D
 
I support a move to the Coloseum. It never really made sense to be in the Civ III forums to begin with.
 
If you think about it, if we were in the civ4 forums right now, we would be overwhelmingly swarmed with newbies looking for the game, so overwhelmed that it could have seriously injured NESing.

That is why the elders of the forums are wise, and you must all listen and obey :)
