I’m going to place my vote on vote: ATPG – at least until I get a reaction to my previous post. Was it a simple typo, or a larger indication on his perspective in this game? Pizza doesn’t usually make a mistake like that, but we need to dig a little deeper and not just ignore it.

Darth Caesar and Verarde were late enough to the wagon that I'm not giving them top credit. I'm not even giving myself much credit since I didn't even vote for the man, just raised a big stink about his actions. But you know, the folks that were really quick to join that NinjaCow wagon and didn't move, those folks look pretty darn townie to me. Yourself, BSmith? You were on the wrong side of history until just the right moment to make it all go away. But I remember where you stood, and I'm not going to let anyone forget it.

Well, none of this thread is making any sense. But I didn't like JoanK's bandwaggoning and explanation was weak.

Okay, so this could be my last post of the game. In summary, for those of you who find me verbose and annoying, yet townie:


1) BSmith's actions would look quite heroic if it weren't for the extremely scummy timing of each move. To try to make his case against me look very serious and exciting just as NinjaCow is drowning in his own milk, that rubs me the wrong way, and then to join that wagon at precisely the right moment to re-tie it up and point a big finger of suspicion at BigTin, that's a big moo-moo. I mean no-no.

2) Mergle, for the timing of this post which I pointed out was out of place. Oh sorry I'm joining the game now, let me vote on the wrong bandwagon, hope no one notices how scummy this is.

3) Some mafioso bussed NinjaCow, if it wasn't BSmith. Look at the later votes for Ninja, not the first 3-4.

4) Maybe Joecoolyo. OMGUS and all that. Not very strong on this.

You have been doing everything in your power to take credit for the death of the mafioso. You may have seen the writing on the wall, and decided to bus a partner for distancing purposes.

Show me where exactly I have been “doing everything in my power to take credit” for Ninja’s lynch. I have made one factual statement that my vote helped lynch him. Not exactly “everything in my power”.

You'd get more credit in my eyes if you had been on that wagon from the beginning, not when you thought it was politically expedient and it would make you look like a savior.

BigTin’s vote on JoanK, especially after the conversation directly before his post, it what drew my attention. I’d have voted for BigTin but at that point of the day it would have been a wasted vote. So I voted for the next best option, which is who he was appearing to try to protect.

Listen you, if you're a townie, you did well and this is nothing. And I apologize.

No. If you're townie, you're fine. But you are wrapping yourself in the success of that lynch, and making it into something that makes you look innocent.

It's not proof that you're not guilty. And you're essentially arguing that it is. That's a steaming pile of BSMith.

So voting for you, or asking you to clarify a statement, or otherwise questioning you at all is a death sentence. Good to know. Last I checked you were in no real danger with that vote. But it did force you to clarify something you said – which I presume is a bad thing in your mind?

Who is there voting for me, when the wagon on Ninja is blowing up? Why, it's BSmith. You were never very enthusiastic about lynching Ninjacow until BigTin showed up and placed the vote which will ensure that BigTin is an eventual lynchee, joining the K wagon, which you used to immediately make him look like a mafioso, and make yourself look good, by using this moment to finally join the Cow wagon.

This was bussing your partner at the moment you could argue a defense for yourself the most, for the remainder of the game.

And you'll never get murdered and no one will ask why. Well I have done S like that before as a mafioso. I know all the tactics, BSmith, I've been mafia over 30 times now. Don't try to pull this with me because I WILL SEE IT and I WILL CALL YOU OUT ON IT.

Bussing my partner at this point in the voting makes no sense. BigTin came out of nowhere and made that post. Sacraficing a team member at this point would be asinine. BigTin had no suspicion on him at all. Why would I re-tie a vote against my other partner at this time? Just on the off chance that I would look good later? No way.

tl;dr version of the above: Pizza is grasping at straws trying to make mountains out of mole hills. I am done with this issue until day starts. If the mafia are smart, they will do what Pizza is already alluding to and kill him just to frame me.

If Pizza is indeed innocent, we are wasting a lot of time and letting the real mafia stay in the shadows. If I am still alive tomorrow, I am starting with BigTin. I suggest the rest of you do the same.

The people gathered once more, and today they noticed MoreEpicThanYou was missing. When some people had gone to his house, they found him in his bed, dead. This was reported back to the others, and they once again debated over who to kill.

Now, back to the lynch. We have two accusations. The first is ATPG's on Bsmith. The second is Bsmith's on BigTin. Let's look back on everything they've said during the game.

Trying to plant ideas you are a townie on day 1 and switched your vote. That is two no-nos in my book.

This one looks pretty suspicious from the outset. I paid little attention to it on day one, as did pretty much everyone, but it's important to look at as part of the larger picture.

The use of the word "we" was correct and used as intended.

We the town should investigate and follow up on any lead that appears, and not just let it slip by, uncontested. There have been games where a simple slip like yours caught a scumbag. You are a great player, but that doesn't mean you don't make mistakes sometimes. A little light in the dark areas is never a bad thing, if you ask me.

I suppose this is a good point, but

I don't think ATPG is scum - at least, I don't think his 'scummy' actions are any more than his normal town performance.

I still stand by this, for the moment.

Just looking at the tally that was made it seems like there are two possible lynch options. NinjaCow and JoanK. I know JoanK is new and am taking that into consideration. Those random votes on others could mean a tunneling townie, a hiding mafia, or wait no other special roles so that is it. All things considered I am going to Vote: JoanK because of the selfvote, and even as a new player it is better you aren't around so we can find the mafia. Noobyness and mafia act similarly usually so I agree with this lynch. NinjaCow isn't clear yet, I just feel that there is more against Joan than Ninja right now.

This is a nail in the coffin in my opinion, at this point I'm pretty much ready to join the BigTin prosecution.

Yeah, no. My vote for Nija was purely a reaction to BigTin’s vote for JoanK. I thought his vote was especially fishy given the conversation right before it regarding JoanK and the fact that it tipped the scales back to JoanK being the lead for the lynch.

I'm with Olaf. BigTin. And, sorry conspiracy fans (ATPG), but I had genuinely forgotten about signing up for this (there was quite a gap) and I think it's bad form to use a false non-game-related explanation (smacks of cheating to me) so I never lie about non-game issues on principle. I voted JoanK because behaviour appeared random, but the later heartfelt (or superb acting) explained away the random behaviour convincingly. And made me feel like a heel.
