choxorn I never said the town was stupid did I? Maybe you should take words literally. It just seems like whenever I try to contribute to the town, in any game on CFC I get labelled as mafia. I don't understand it. No one else tries to contribute, other than ATPG and Zack for the most part. I always feel like these games are filled with mafia and sheep. Most people who get lynched are lynched because people see the popular vote and decide that the group is correct. Go ahead and lynch me, I will turn up town and again you will have lost a player trying to find scum, instead of one fossing any person who offers an opinion.
JoanK a bit of advice, voting for someone who voted for you usually means you are mafia. It is an OMGUS (Oh My God U Suck) and is usually frowned upon. However I am starting to feel you are just an actual noob, and considering NinjaCow tried to lynch you, I would say you are clear. No way he would bus right away. So I vote for:

Why are you so fixated on trying to lynch me, someone you claimed is one of the few players who actually tries to contribute? This is what, the second or third time you've voted for me on silly reasoning?
The first was silly reasoning I agree. But why does what I say make you suddenly decide to vote for me, instead of BSmith, my accuser. You just called me a name when you switched your vote, leading me to believe you and choxorn are on a team, especially since he reminded you to vote. I am still not sure if BSmith is on that team, or if the two of you are just using him to hide with.

I'll keep that in mind if you show up as townie when the game is over. I also think it's stinky and I admire folks who don't go that route.
My suspicion on you remains, but it's not quite at the you-must-die level that BSmith is giving me.

It's when you vote for someone for the sole reason that they voted for you. This is frowned upon. The town usually thinks that anybody voting for someone who voted for them is a OMGUS.

What town also seems to think is that OMGUS votes are scummy. They can be; but they are often a townie's best weapon.
Consider: Mafia have to vote for townies, or their own partners for distancing reasons. If a mafioso votes for a townie, and the townie OMGUS votes them back, that gangster has an additional vote on them, increasing the chances said mafioso gets lynched. If a mafioso votes for a mafioso, that also increases the odds a mafioso gets lynched.
Predictably, gangsters may then wait to vote until other bandwagons are established and therefore the odds of their being lynched in retaliation may decrease. Players who consistently stall before voting or join wagons that will probably not result in a lynch before the deadline, may be employing a play it safe strategy. That is not very useful to the town and it is scummy.
