Right. So going to take time to put effort into the Crimson trilogy's write-ups, but in the meantime, other movie alternative (which I might do indie if I get enough funding from selling my TV shows/the Crimson contract):

Premise is about a man who takes a genetic test after he and his wife have had repeated failed attempts to have a child, only to find his DNA doesn't match that of the human species. Plot then focuses upon his dealing with media attention and legal controversy over what should happen with him (with a lot of people being unsettled with the fact that he's "not human," and a small and very powerful group arguing he shouldn't be treated as such). Also, he's black and his wife is white, so racism. Themes being ofc racism and what it means to be human. Cost could be done as low as 8 million with A-levels or 13.1 with A+, since he's the only star.

Basically, it is to American racism what District 9 was to Apartheid. Only without the awesome alien overplot.

By 1962, he has worked his way up to becoming the Archbishop of Santa Fe. At the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis, Pope John XXIII dies in a manure explosion; without his intervention, the crisis erupts into open war, as the Americans & the Soviets square off. The College of Cardinals elects our alien friend as Pope, unaware of his otherworldly origin. At the Papal coronation, he shocks the world by dropping his disguise and revealing his true alien form.

Now it is 1967, and instead of drowning in hippies, San Francisco is drowning in Soviets. His Holiness has commissioned many new holy orders in the past 5 years, and a new generation of knights equipped with alien technology is waging a great crusade against the Red Menace.

The Throne of Peter follows Pope Extraterrestrius I and his trusty sidekicks, Archbishop Karol Józef Wojtyła and CIA Agent Armend Brantley, as they lead the faithful from the front lines, blow up Soviet tanks with alien gizmos, and fight Leonid Brezhnev in epic Kung-Fu battles. Obviously, this show is less than serious, and adopts a campy attitude with many homages to classic shows of the 50s and 60s. 30 minutes, B acting, Multi-Star (3 stars), Excellent Quality, Videography.

The Jade Swordsman (Season 2)

In season 2 of "The Jade Swordsman", patriot Ti Lung battles it out with Southern Venom Ouyang Chang, a powerful pugilist who is the head of the Iron Palm Sect, one of the largest Sects in all of China. Ouyang Chang is colluding with the Mongols against the Song Empire and if Ti Lung does not stop him, when the Song Empire is invaded by the Mongols, the Song soldiers will also have to face enemies from within, thus dooming the Song Empire. But, Ouyang Chang is very skilled and his internal energy is deep and profound, so Ti Lung will have a hard time battling it out with him.

Another change in the new Season is the introduction of patriot General Lü Wenhuan, Commander in Chief of the Song forces in the important strategically city of Xiangyang. Xiangyang is the only obstacle to Mongol domination of China and if it falls, the entire Song Empire will collapse. Kublai Khan is preparing an army of 800,000 soldiers to invade Song China while Lü Wenhuan has only 3,000 soldiers. Nevertheless, all of his soldiers are patriots who are ready to sacrifice themselves for the liberty of China. Ti Lung befriends the patriotic General and tries to protect him from Ouyang Chang and his men, who want to assassinate him in order to prepare the ground for the Mongol invasion. Ti Lung and Lü Wenhuan also have to face the incompetency of the Song Court, as the foolish Emperor listens to advises of corrupt officials and persecutes patriotic officials. Lü Wenhuan is also slandered and Ti Lung is the only one who can clear his name and punish the corrupt officials.

Ti Lung also falls in love with Miss Huang, a young and very beautiful woman who is nevertheless mysterious and no one knows her true background. He meets her when he saves her from some bandits. Ti Lung is attracted to her, but he feels that something is wrong with her. Also, an other very skilled swordsman, Zhang Wuji, falls in love with her and wants to kill Ti Lung in order to marry Miss Huang. Ti Lung and Zhang Wuji have the same level of skills and so their battles are always inconclusive. But, Zhang Wuji is tempted by Ouyang Chang and joins him and the Mongols in their quest to kill Ti Lung and Lü Wenhuan, thus betraying his nation for love.

With my film proposals, the costs listed are the total cost if made by a network, and the total cost if produced independently. Only one of the listed costs actually has to be paid.

Show Name: The Fear Within

WBT wishes to make an offer for such a film. We are willing to offer the producer a 5 million up front signing bonus, in addition to 25% of box office profits, as well as 75% of DVD sales. And since OCN holds the rights to the TV series at the moment (since the movie is in the same franchise they can either make the movie or have to give permission for another network to make it) we are willing to offer them 25% of the box office sales. We hope this offer will prove satisfactory.

Trope Co. considers this offer quite satisfactory, but as noted OCN currently holds franchise rights, and so we will require their approval before committing to the project.

WBT inquires as to whether the rights to this show might be open for...transfer next season once its current contract runs out. If the price is right of course.

Once a contract runs out, Trope Co. is always willing to listen to external offers for a shows rights. However, we hope WBT understands that special consideration will be given to the original network when such offers are being considered.

2 million for Alba Gu Bràth is OK, good but not great. I have interest, but for fairness I will hear PC offers. If any PC matches that offer or does better, I'll go with them because PCs>NPCs. Let the 24 Hour Countdown begin.

Description: Drawing upon a blend of traditional Inuit mythology and influenced by the styles of such masters of psychological horror as Stephen King, Amaroq follows the story of 23-year-old Matthew Grant, a half-white half-Inuit guide in modern Alaska (or the Yukon, in any Canadian adaptations) who is forced to fight ancient and dark powers alone in the Arctic forests to avenge the death of his fiancée at the hands of a pack of Adlet - and his own discovery of a dangerous and dark magic. Despite the premise, is designed to be completely accessible to those unfamiliar with Inuit mythology. Relies on heavy suspense.

Special Events were not planned out well last turn. They are simply unwieldy to do unless they run throughout the entire 12 week stretch as MLB would in the summer. Therefore, SE's will be limited to those that fit into such a narrow spectrum from now on. The Bidding this turn shall include:

Also networks remember that you can each create one show of your own. Nobody elected to do that last turn, so I feel I should remind you of such an ability.

Bidding shall close at 8pm EST wednesday, and orders shall lock at 10pm EST thursday. Orders shall be done via interactive google docs which should go up tonight or tomorrow. How that will work is that there will be a mast schedule template where each network will fill out their own schedule, meaning I won't have to copy paste every slot over. Producers will also each have their own tab where they can (and should) post their shows that are airing (and any that don't can be auto sold to WBT), how much they cost, essential stats like that. It will make it an easy place to access information, for everyone, especially me as the GM.
