I have a a number of Russian friends/colleagues.

Anyway, how did you come by opinion I do not like the language? While my proficiency in Russian is regrettably nowhere near as good as in English, I believe the language to be fascinating. Possibly because I can somewhat relate to and appreciate the cultural background.
And in many areas, its ... resources make English pale in comparison.
