I wish to expand on this.

Basically, the countries I like better got favored.

Savoy goes to Italy, Alsace is it's own nation, Belgium now has to worry about Frenchies as well as Walloons and Flems, Luxembourg is now it's original size before it was partitioned, Denmark has Holstein, Ukraine collapsed, Russia eats Russian Ukraine, Crimea manages independence, And there are two new ukrainian states, Kiev which is the central Ukrainian state, wishes to remain neutral, the true Ukrainian state.

The other Ukrainan state is dubbed "Galicia" even though it doesn't control Galicia. (IE, couldn't think of a name) During this timeline, Western Ukrainians gained some type of ultra nationalism where they think they are Central Europeans. They built there own language which is Polish-ish flavored with Ukrainian. When Ukraine collapsed, the ultra nationalists managed to gain independence.

Some countries took there fair share of Ukraine as well. Poland got Lwow(as well as Austrian Silesia, Tatra Mts., Grodno(plus parts of Brest), and parts of kalingrad), Slovakia got Carpathia. Romania annexed Moldova, Retook Bugeac and Maramures, and conquered Odessa during the Ukrainian collapse.

Russia also lost in favor a bit, losing territories to it's nieghbours.

Nobody could understand Albanians and there nationalism, and Serbia was kinda lacking a seaport after Montenegro gained independence, so Serbia allied with Montenegro, Macedonia and Greece and annexed Albania. Turkey stood in the alliances way, and was unseuccesful and lost lots of territory including Constantinople to Greece. Bulgaria joined in as well.

Catalonia and Basque land gained independence via referendum sometime to.

I am bored, and will hopefully make a better version in the future.

The only problem I have with your scenario is Turkey. Turkey has one of the largest armies in the world (not to mention one of the most advanced and well trained). So if they got into a little squabble with a Balkans alliance, they should have easily won, if not even gained territory. Maybe even re-declare an Ottoman Empire of some sorts, which would be interesting...

And yet you somehow think that Russia would be willing to give up Kaliningrad to Poland? He wasn't trying to be realistic.

Hmm... that is true. Though I still stand by my belief that a new Ottoman Empire is much more interesting that a Balkans Alliance. :D

Yah maybe for Americans. Not so much for us Europeans.

Us Europeans would rather get rid of their last stronghold in Europe.

On another forum I frequent the Greek nationalist BS is as bad as the Polish stuff here. SO I actually propose that Greece be returned to its rightful Turkish rulers :)

You know, the Poles who are under the delusion that their country is in Central Europe?

And all the arguments about Danzig, and Lwow, and Pomerania, and other stuff?

Well, depending on which geographical/historical conception you prefer, you may argue that Poland is in Central Europe - though division into Western and Eastern is most common.

But yeah, there are few nasty, nationalistic Polish Trolls out there that spoil image of ordinary, decent Poles. Too bad that there are people with little imagination, who apply this image to all Poles, and just troll same way - only in opposite direction.

I'll gladly disregard anything TheLastOne36 says and think more highly of Poland you post some of your hot wimmins here.

I prefer to judge a country by its wimmins, and not their internet posters.

I might have a task for our German posters.

I may need a new redone Germany for WWM as France, Netherlands, Bohemia, Spain, Poland, England and Italy got new toys to balance things.

I think I will make a new thread for this, so this is more of a heads up.

Wow, that map is pretty sexy. :goodjob:

Those maps are beautiful. How exactly did you make them?

Thrashing Mad, I saw someone else do the same technique as you on Paradox Forums. Are you by any chance a member there?

Good to know, next time I see a map like that I'll add the poster(which I will assume to be you) as a friend. :)
