Here is the map circa 2040 (the last point when a review of all the powers are made) as near as I can guess it. Also included are individual powers EUEZs (Exclusive Undersea Extraction Zones). The grey in india and china isn't a superstate btw - thats fallout and chaos

Nice map Dis, though it was clearly done in something of a hurry. You missed Alaska, for one thing. For another, South Africa is balkanized. I think I'll try to make a summary of the situation in 2040 later today if I find the time, for silver's use.

Yeah, and theres also the problem of them being a bit vague about exact borders, as well as not detailing some things. South Africa Balkanized? I thought the Boer Republic was relatively unified (and at this point had conquered everything that didn't join Azania). Thats the summary I used on the map btw

Well peace has been restored in Russia (kind of) but China and India (apart from the states in colour on the map) are a sprawl of squabbling minor states and Warlords, the US is pissed off at its military defeat and the hands of the Japanese and Macronesians (the south pacific nation), eveyone hates Indonesia, and Brazil and the US are lockinghorns over the Colombian disintergration. Also Guinea is out to conquer africa and the German conquest of space is well on its way

Yes true...it looks too Jeebusy. A darker one would be better as long as its similar to the other map. Its most fitting for a modern/future NES.

It's basically that one with "Swedish Blue" coasts and rivers (to distinguish them from black political borders) and "NK Blue" oceans, seas, and lakes. Could have it done in a day or three, depending on how quick you need it.

Some of the technology is fairly stupid, quite frankly. No conceivable power source is given for the powered armor, the notion of lasers rendering planes obsolete is fairly ludicrous given the march of technology (nullified by either stealth or ablative / reflective armor), and once more you have people magically coming upon antimatter weaponry (admittedly in the 2105 part but given they have healthy enough arsenals to wage a war with, it must've started sometime prior) without anything of scaled power in between. Certain other ideas aren't bad though. Still, considering war only spurs advances in military technology, it's kind of lacking. No mention of electromagnetic or plasma assisted weapons is just sad.

Ah indeed. It would be a great help if someone could make a list of realistic technologies prevelant at this point in 2040. (Think I'll start in 2039 actually... thats when I'm supposed to rule the world). Stats...painful.
