Alternate Timeline Building Experiment, v1.0

Voresian Empire: In the event of a barbarian invasion they would use the surrounding Kingdoms to their advantage. Building alliances with them, calling them Protectorates, and using their militaries to defend their internal lands.

Mavan Kingdom: The kingdom would defend themselves using their alliance with the Voresian Empire. Allowing the invaders to fight their northern enemies first to gain more land.

Tesnaran Empire: They must first consolidate what they have. The Aelaris may push the Tesnarans across Gibralter forcing the Tesnarans to consolidate what they have left in present day Morocco.

The Whashagon Kingdoms will try to prevent a barbarian attack by using their skilled archers to pin down the enemies, demoralize them, then counter attack with their axe men and such. They will also focus on fishing and will explore the Pacific Coast.

The Whashagon Tribes will continue on their rampaging ways, yet to settle down.

The Nashagon Tribes will try to settle down and fish, as well the Waeluta Tribes.

Thanks again for the input/orders, and welcome @ Warhead!

Is the map OK now? I don't know why there'd be a problem. I just checked and the link is working for me still.

Another question - would anyone like an update tonight, or wait till tomorrow? The thing is, I'm going away Friday- Sunday as I may have already said, and I'll need to be up early on Friday, means going to bed early Thursday... Which means if there's no update tonight, no guarantees I can update again till after the weekend :(

OOC: Being an island group, I was thinking if the Timiquican could be the raiders along the same lines as the Vikings and the Sea-Peoples of 1200BC

That is something I forgot to say, your culture can also become the 'barbarian horde' in its part of the world!

Also, a few other things I kinda missed out last time:

> Kaj Empire's golden age of literacy
> Krilik beserker troops
> Pargian religious upheaval against god-king worship

So basically, I'm inclined to wait, if there are no objections. I think speed is good, but I don't want to rush too much. This has got way more involved then I planned (as usual, lolz ).

Comments/opinions welcome :salute:

Tupistok and Pelonar are not in the list of who controls them. Or are they the vassals under Voresian control.

Yes they are Voresian vassal territories. I didn't see them being very distinct at this point, but not fully assimilated either. They'd basically do whatever the empire does.

Several Tuzan tribes will begin rallying under the Prophet-Warlord Arut Tagarot, who has claimed that the safest havens from the great wave of evil from the east is to the green lands of Europe, of which he had seen when he came there as a merchant of sorts. Of course, they have to kill a bunch of innocents on the way, but sucks to be those innocents.

Hey, their idea of great Eastern Apocalypse can get into their contacts' minds and mix in with the great barbarian hordes thing. Kinda OTL-ish, but meh.

By Grace of Mod, I am now the Tuizen. Fear me.

I'd rather wait. I have to throw together the finishing touches of a project.

waiting works for me too. Either way it doesent matter because im gone from Saturday 12 to Saturday 19

Savisian Empire
Priorities: Alliance with the Golanur, Urban Development, Conquest of the Black Sea

A great warrior-king named Ytvrek will begin a bold period of expansion, fighting his neighbours for dominance of the 'Savisian Sea', as he considers it.

Zevon Kingdom
Priorities: Militarism, War with Neighbours when Profitable

A rogue Zevonian prince named Daryek will lead a strong army against the Slezkh tribes, carving out a nation for himself, to be named Serezyl.

Garakal Kingdom

Priorities: Expansion of Territory, Expansion of Religion

The Kingdom of Garak will begin to rapidly expand through its peninsular home, spreading the faith with it.

Hom Empire has been continuing its expansion on Hom, and if barbarians strike, the secret army will be revealed. Having the finest iron weapons from the Zuru Kingdom, a large army of 25,000 men has been assembled, with a small elite strike force called the Rhino's Horn, who each wield two of the finest swords in the kingdom, if not the whole world.
Zuru Kingdom would, in case of barbarian attack, use shrewd diplomacy to turn barbarians against each other, and when they are weakened, strike them and destroy. Simple, yet relatively effective.
Zuch Kingdom, due to its small status, would probably ally with the barbarians, lending their sleek and excellent ships to the cause, in return for land and safety.
Zul Sea-Peoples would go into the seas which is their homeland and use their inherent abilities of naval combat to maneuver into a position where the barbarian's would not be able to strike and turn into sitting ducks for the attacking and armed ships.

Changed Priorities

Pargians
1: Be a consistent enemy of the Tesnarans throughout the period
2: Don't lose any terrortory

Aelari:
1: Develop the idea that military expansion by force is morally wrong
2: Resist the barbarian invasions

Out of interested, what time frame will this be "done" and what plans are to be done with it once it is?

Yeah something like a modern age is the goal, or maybe one 'turn' into futuristic tech. Originally I had planned 14 updates to get that far, but its now looking like anywhere between 16 and 20 (heh :) ).

An what are the plans for once we have created it?

I hope there's at least a sequel. I've long been a lurker on this forum, but the whole complicated rulesets and orders and troop levels just seemed like too much work. This, on the otherhand, is just pure storytelling :)
