ST. PETERSBURG: The people of St. Petersburg staged an uprising against the German occupation last winter. Apparently, it was to be short-lived: Germany's ally, Finland, rolled through the city a few days ago. Civilians were no match for tanks supported by infantry, and the new occupiers imposed a strict curfew on the people as they decided what to do. There have been no executions as of yet, but there are still explosions in some places as the northerners clean up resistance, and the "resistance" throws Molotov cocktails.
The President of Finland, G. A. Gripenberg, issued a statement about the invasion, noting that the citizens had revolted against a government that had received the city in a treaty, and had rights to it. "This was terrorism, plain and simple," went the President. "Finland is committed to stopping terrorism wherever and whenever it arises."
It was noted that the missing Finnish troops, last seen in southern Iraq, have not yet surfaced. Morale in the cities of the Republic has gone up since the invasion, though, and people seem to already forget about the missing men and ships.

Battleships fired a preinvasion salvo, and infantry swarmed onto the port's waterfront, shooting at the Norwegians. As soon as the infantry had secured the waterfront, tanks showed up and added significant firepower to the troops, clearing out buildings and annihilating roadblocks.
The Finns encountered some resistance, but government spokesmen say that most of the city is under control now, and the terrorists are fleeing into the countryside. The infantry and tanks always wait for naval bombardment, then move in to the decimated houses. The city is a landscape of ruin, except for the post, which remains intact. The troops are even now fighting diehard Norwegian troops, and the General in charge expects the fighting to be almost over by now.
In other news, St. Petersburg has been almost completely secured. The rapid invasion a few weeks ago, utilizing German tactics found mainly in use in street warfare in the 1940s war, has met with resounding success, and the city is nearly under control.

Rebels rise against the Fascists in Leningrad!
Last winter, as if reinacting the glorious October Revolution, Russian patriots stormed nazi offices in Leningrad and declared the a Ressian State. This is truly a sign that the second revolution is now! The entire federation applauds these braves in their quest for reimergence! Maybe if the Fascists could allow the Russians an independant re-patriotism into the Union, there could finally be peace between the German and the Russian. For now we can only hope the great revolutionaries in Leningrad can hold out agains the nazi devils.

The Government in Cape Town has decided to change state's name to The Union of Greater Africa, Due to the political pressure from the United States of America. According to the Washington the old name was unacceptable and had to be changed. The glorious superior peoples council in Cape Town agreed, and decided to change the name almost immediately.

Look at the new map. Around Bergen there is a white state, called the Kingdom of Norway. It rebelled against the rightful German owners of the city, and Finland is taking it back. Also, I believe the new St. Petersburg's population was greatly decreased by the siege of the 1940s war, and further by the rightful German occupying force. Population is about 2.1 million in 1955. Suffice to say that Finland has a population of about 5 million people in Finland proper and the military districts.

The former Qinq Emperor of China who was forced to resign his power of China in 1912, and his Imperial title in 1924 has once again become emeperor of all of China. The Qinq Dynasty has been reinstated throughout Japanese China. Emperor Pu Yi was instated as Epperor of Manchukuo(Manchuria) in 1934 by the glourious Japanese Empire. The Emperor has declined to beocme head of government of China, but he is glad to be back on the throne. A large ceremony at the Forbidden Palace took place with the Japanese Imperial Governor of China, 3 Generals, dozens of military officers, hundreds of governemnt officals and hundreds of VIPs attending including ambassadors from the United States and Germany. Thousands lined the streets as he made an apperance before his people.
"I Emperor Pu Yi the 10th of the Qinq dynasty hear by announce that my Imperial title has been restored. I will not tolerate rebels and will not tolerate any imposters. Any one claiming to be the Emperor of the Middle Kingdom will be dissapointed as I am stanfding here to deny you that right. if I die, my first son will become emperor and his and so on. Glory be to the Middle Kingdom, and Glory be to the Japanese Empire that keeps her strong and supports us."

2 weeks after his coronation, Pu Yi vited Emperor Hirohito in Tokyo. The discussion was mostly towards China's future role in the Japanese Empire and the world at large. EMperor Hirohito agreed to give now Imperial China a little more lee-way in it's own governing. The Emperor of China was allowed to appoint Chinese heads to 34 prefectures(sub-provinces) of the 54 in China to work with the Japanese heads of these prefectures. Pu Yi also agreed to form a Chinese national guard loyal to Japan. The imperial Army of China is not to be larger than 50,000 troops.
Hirohito Delivers first Radio Broadcast
During the Tokyo conferance, Emperor Pu Yi made a speech over the radio to the Japanese people. Right afterwords the audicance was shocked to hear the voice of Emperor Hirohito. He spoke only one sentance "I Bless the Chinese Emperor," but it's impact is strong. It is the first time in history that the emperors voice was heard over the radio and many did not know who spoke but could tell it had a divine voice. Many wonder if the Emperor will begin to be more active in the people's eyes and ears.
False Emperor Falls
In accordance to the now Emperor of CHina's wishes, Japanese forces moved into the former false imperial Chinese borders before the cornoation had taken place. Over 150,000 Japanese soldiers have taken over the ancient city of Xi'an former capital of the Western Han Dynasty, the Wesntern Wei Dynasty, the Northern Zhoiu Dynasty, the SUi Dynasty, and Tang Dynasty. A large area north and an area west of the city wwere also captured. The Nationalist forces of CHina have taken most of the former imposter's land. The imposter Emperor was executed by nationalist forces.
Before the coronation a new false empeor has appeared, but Imperial CHinese and Imperial Japanese forces are moving in to destroy him.
Ho Chi Minh
The warlord Ho CHi Minh has started a rebellion in IndoChina. Japanese forces are enroute to squash his pityful rebellion.
