The fortify base was updated, unit 32 added to Roman Army. Carthage base and 32, shading. White is difficult to get right.

Well what do you know how to do? Can you add a unit?
Create in the editor the unit, its characteristics.
In the editor box "civilopedia entry" youll need to type the path, see examples.
Put the unit folder into the units folder in the civ directory.
Add the icon pcx's to the civilopedia.
Youll also need to alter the units32.

There are good tutorials in on the civ III page to add units with more detailed instructions.

With a little trial and error and a few headaches and WTH moments, youll be a master modder in no time.

Agreed, and then some! When C4 was announced, I naively assumed that it would, in essence, be a major league upgrade to C3. My heart sank when I learned that I would need to learn 2 different coding /scripting languages to mod it
