@devs: I'm stuck while trying to use a custom gamefont (to include russian). If i replace the GameFont.tga in Assets/res/ nothing happens. It seems that this is file is overtaken by another, but i can't manage to find which one. Do you have an idea ?

EDIT: I'm a bit lost with this. If i remove all the GameFont.tga files from the base game and the mod, it still render accents. WTH ?

EDIT2: Forget about it, the problem was not GameFont.tga but the font used in windows...

  • Updated the XML parser to v0.8
  • Removed old icon / Add 3 new icons

  • Packed Blue Marble to FPK (in Assets/) -> Can be enabled with the launcher

@devs: I'm a bit worried about the integration of the launcher in the server. By default, the updater resolve conflict by keeping versions from the server (i will introduce an option to choose that later). However, when updating the launcher 0.10 to 0.11 by auto-update, then update the mod from x to 737, tortoiseSVN show that the new checker files are in conflict even if i choosed to overwrite conflict. What is the problem here ?

  • Fixed bug where you could "gift" war reparations to an AI to get the trade for free.
  • Toned down the amount of cease relations occuring from AI's
  • Rewrote AI logic for choosing how many great commanders they need, AI's should now retain (1 + cities / 5) commanders, with +1 extra if they are in a war.
  • Added new XML for Techs that allows overriding of the arrow relationships

A BUG PREVENTED THE GAME FROM UPDATING. IT IS NOW FIXED AND CAN BE USED FOR FUTURE UPDATES.

Hey dbkblk installed the launcher for the first time today (great work by the way). Updated to 743 and get error:

LoadXML call failed for xml\text\diplomacy.xml
Current XML file is: xml\test\strategies.xml

Works fine (with no error) on 742.
 
Is Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn 2 still in progress or would it be considered a finished mod at this point? From what I gather, it is still in a "beta" stage, but I wanted to find out its status.

@mrteverett: I assume it does but i haven't measured launching time !

@nionios / zeroRPGmaker: I'll investigate ! That is strange, i don't have this error. Could you send me the file "updater.log" in "checker/". It might contains a clue about the error.

EDIT: Here are the r743 text files to overwrite in Assets/XML/Text. Could you tell me if it fix your problem ?

SVN is a real nightmare when it comes to overwrite local changes...

Updates are being released every week, this mod is pretty much alive and developing. I suggest you download the full installer or even better use dbkblk launcher and installer.
It will be finished at some point but we're still working on it. As it is now, it's very much playable and enjoyable. Try it for yourself. ;)

When you correctly add the change the Colour of the text will alter to 'Blue', and remember to close off your comment, otherwise It'll continue on and on and on and on or just wont' work??? don't know which.

Note - If the file is actually changed due to so SVN update, that the game requires, your file won't be changed, unless you specify to up date the file to head via SVN. In your SVN downloading program. I use KDESVN for linux.

Also, I think you forgot to attach something, because there are no text files.
