AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

Just updated to 916 and game fails to load. It doesn't even make it to the load screen.
As soon as i press launch game a pop up appears stating that civ 4 has stopped working.
Previous version was 911
 
@ksenagos: A new updater has been released but it will work only for the next update. Check that upd_proc.exe is around 15/16Mb. If this is the case, in the launcher, do "Menu > Fix -> Check files again".

@others: The CTD have been added to the bugtracker.
 
I haz another CtD, will happen on ending the current turn. Rev 916.

Might be worth noting that the map for this game was generated with Totestra's "full of resources" option selected. The crashy saved game above (with the fishy floodplain icehills) was also generated with a similar 'more resources' type option selected somewhere.

Also if I start a new game and select RoM_Full_of_Resources_3_00 as the map generator, CtD happens the moment I click on that option in the pull-down.

All reproducible, and all related, perhaps?

Edit: there's now a "CivilizationIV Full of Resources" folder in My Games (not My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS)... wrong place?

I installed a new game via the latest full installer(rev915),played a few turns and everything seems ok.There's only one strange thing: in the main menu,the "load game" option has been translated in greek (the spelling is a bit weird:crazyeye:).Although I'm Greek,I swear I didn't touch anything.

@nionios: Hehe! Do you know the Greek team is now composed of 5 motivated players ? The more translators there is, the faster it will be done and it will be less exhausting to do! We also noticed that bug with the Russian menu. The main menu strings should be written in capitals otherwise the chars are badly rendered.

@shipdit: I'll add that to the bugreport.
 
CtD on ending current turn, another new game, this time with Totestra's perfect world resources option selected. Rev 916.

Gonna try a new game with funky resources turned off and everything else the same and see what happens...

Hi, I have CTD on turn end also, but sometimes when I load game and made different decisions (like don't agree to Right of Passage) game can do some few more turn.
Rev 916, but earlier also. No Revolutions
 
@luvencedus: Could you provide us a savegame please ?
 
@dbkblk is there known instability or experimental features in some game options ?

i always played with all possible "additions"
 
@masaykh: I don't have a straight answer to this. Some time ago, oldnoob reported us high instability in the Active Fighter Defense module but it hasn't been fixed yet, so you should consider not using this feature.
 
@masaykh nope, i always have it switched off

Edit: I have had active fighter defence on in all the above CtD games, but anyone having air units is a very long way off in all of them. Just tried turning it off anyway, still CtDs at the same point.
 
And 30 turns later, a CtD on ending the current turn (rev 916):
This one doesn't crash for me. Can someone else test it ? Just open and finish the turn.

This one doesn't crash neither. Could you load it and do CTRL + SHIFT + T or just recalculate assets if it's asked for. Tell me if it still crashes.
 
@luvencedus: Sorry but I haven't tested yours yet, I was answering to masaykh and shipdit. Yours is next on the list!
 
OK, new game, funky extra resources all off (but still on Totestra and not sure if its default/normal resource option is quite the same as "native" default, if you know what i mean). Still getting a CtD quite early on at end of turn.

Gonna try something a bit more mundane for the map gen next time & see...

Edit: but I won't post any more saved games for a while... this is getting confusing :p
