I've a sort of bug, or at least a game play anomaly.
If your spiritual, you can switch civics with 1 turn of anarchy.
fine so far.
BUT, you can also switch from Chiefdom to Despotism, and back again.
WHY? Well, you settle a city build infrastructure etc and gather food at SIZE 1.
Once you have a reasonable city running, with improvements and all, you switch to Chiefdom from Despotism and suddenly you size 1 city will grow, EACH TURN to a size 5 or 6, with a GRANARY.
I've just done this playing Marathon speed, Seems a bit of a cheat, as the AI can't do it as well.
Solution - For once, I wish you wouldn't ask me for a solution to problems I pose.
O.K. When food stores cycles over to the next level up, they should only keep 30% of PREVIOUS LEVEL in storage. If you change civics, the food levels are only stored at
0% for no Granary
30% of previous bin population cycle for granary.
50% " " " " " for Grain silo.
With an added calculation, to give the LOWER of level Previous bin storage v's civics adopted.
Personally, if the AI can't do it, its a cheat, and needs to be fixed.
