AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

Okay, I see. Can you upload a save with this happening?

No need specific save, thats the way it works now regardles game options etc.. The bug you fixed was another one I reported. This is different, it happens when there is domain cargo and atleast two special cargos.

@rtt4a: even on a non-specific bug, a savegame will save us much time so we can work on something else before to find the bug.

I think let's hold off on merging any more C2C code - RAND is already fairly stable and I don't really see any features they have that we need.

If they do come up with general bug fixes, we can open a thread and discuss on a case by case basis. But their AI changes are not really compatible with RAND anymore, as C2C is a vastly different mod.
I agree, I meant I've done it months ago. It's been a resource while you were away and I didn't have almost any skill. Now I don't think it's necessary anymore.

Hullo, forgive me but can't be bothered to read 150-odd pages to see if this has been posted before.

Crash to desktop on completing Blarney Castle, reproduced across different games, issue appears to be with the associated movie since A) it doesn't play, and B) checking "no movies" in game options > graphics prevents the crash.

Attached saved game, will crash on the next turn.

Rev 879, crappy old rig with 2GB, single core, X800.

Also, Best. Game. Ever.

Today I have received 2 non repeatable ctds so I turned off active fighter defense to do another test for a few days. If there are no more non repeatable ctds then I believe that will justify a look into active fighter defense for a bug.
Second test. Two more days of no ctds. So I definitely feel that active fighter defense is bugged.

Exploit found.

If you have a Vassal, and as such, they MUST always deal with you.

You can offer to other civ's to "Cease relations with your vassal", they will pay through the NOSE to get this.

Of course, it changes NOTHING, between you and your vassal.

I was able to gain over 200 :gold: per turn in payments before I decided to stop, well, I had confirmed it thoroughly:lol:

MAJOR exploit with cease relations.

Fairly easy to correct. Thanks for the report.

A little while ago I reported a bug where I couldn't build arquebusiers anymore even though I couldn't yet build musketmen. I believe that something was done about it, but, well, it's still a problem. I'm not on the most up-to-date revision at the moment, though.

I just discovered military tradition but haven't got flintlock yet. Can build grenadiers, but no longer arquebusiers (which had been available just the turn prior).

Cheers, A.

When I replace a bakery with the replacement building, the food processing plant, I lose commerce. Should replacements not always be better than their predecessors?

Similarly when the Alchemist lab is upgraded the Great Person points disappear. (I'm not a fan of ordinary buildings providing GPP anyway).

No, not always. Witness Star Fort from Castle. I carefully wait until tech that obsoletes Castles in cities they are before I build Star Fort. Castles have commerce bonus while Star Fort just have strong defensive bonus. So what you are reporting is not a bug but a feature.

Appreciate the report. I tested your save, and a fresh game with constructing the Blarney Castle, with movies ON. I saw the movie, and didn't see a crash either time.

Could you test this 45* or Vokarya and see if either of you get a crash? It might be that WINE is somehow preventing or handling the crash on Ubuntu for me.

does anyone know where I can find a launch button?

If you're using Mastery Victory, you have to build ALL spaceship parts before launching it. By the way if you're using Mastery and you've come that far, you're one of the few who have done it. :)

Tested, no crash for me.

I fixed that a few versions ago. Grenadier now requires Flintlock instead of Matchlock.

SVN 878

Well 2nd stack has only 2 siege, but the 1st has 6 or 8 maybe 7

Game is attached, 2nd stack has a bombard so counted as a stack of doom.

All are SW of Mohawk, city I've just taken, so will be last on city list.

Hm, guess I got a corrupt video file then (make that two, just had the same with another, later, wonder video [edit: Greek Fire]). Not the first time I've suspected my hard drive and/or controller might be on its last legs to be honest. Either that or there's something in those two videos that my creaky old graphics card (256MB, shader model 2) doesn't like, seems unlikely though. Maybe running out of system RAM?... 2GB, standard size world, about 15 civs, only recently started to open up the rest of the world... probably pushing it a bit. Anyway, I wouldn't spend much time attempting to reproduce it, that save game file should have done it if anything was going to.
