hi, in 135 B.C some civs already are in medieval age.

Before I check the save, can I bet you are on Deity difficulty (or anyway from Emperor above)? :)

Checked the savegame, I stand corrected. But to tell the truth, this is normal, they're not so far advanced. I mean, a civ can beeline to a tech of the next era but miss a lot of previous era techs, like in this case. There's some tolerance on when each era should start. While this is a bit early, those 2 civs which have already hit Medieval Era have left behind some Classical Era techs. Moreover, no medieval religion has been founded yet. Let me know how it goes in the next 100 turns or so. :)
 
I lost a rev955 game very early to barbarians thanks to a bad roll against some slingers, and it gave me control of a different AI civ rather than ending the game. Is this intended behavior?

I guess this is intended to continue your game. Of course, we should add a message telling you've lost but you can continue with another civ.
 
I've been playing lately and seeing some weird behavior at end-of-turn. I play with Revolutions on and Minimize Pop-Ups on. I have a saved game where it's almost the end of my turn (there is one unmoved unit left) and I have a tech choice and four production choices to make, and those should pop up at the end of the turn. If I end the turn, I can make the tech choice, but before I can make the production choices, the game jumps to the next turn with a Revolution popup. Normally, the game shouldn't end the turn until all the production choices are made.

1. The updater doesn't work. Local 955; Remote 961. It is on 0% until it closes.
2. When I regenerate a map in custom game, somewhere of the map there is an area which is not totally unexplored (dark), just "fogged" - and sometimes it's very far from my start point.

I hope I expressed myself clear, I don't speak english very well - sorry for that.

I don't know about your first problem but I always suggest not to regenerate map, just get back to main menu and start again. That fogged spot is your previous starting location.

My first game with your MOD and unfortunately after few turns CTD every time

Just 2 comments I made two modifications inside XML files

MIN_CITY_RANGE = 3

and

Now I saw that when I open module updater, a cmd.exe pops up for a moment.
This is what it write:
Sent termination signal to the process "rsync.exe" with PID ... (The ... stands for a number, which is change whenever I try to run it. PID 3804 or 2508 or 4452 or 4164 or 3340 or 4680)
I don't know if this is normal.

And another issue.
Sometimes the icons for resources disappeare, and it doesn't help, if a try to toggle it off then on. Sometime the quit and reload helps, but not always.

@Rolne: Can you check that you don't have an antivirus or firewall which blocks the executables ? and2_checker.exe, updater.exe or rsync.exe which are used during the update.

@voleur: Your CTD will be added to the bugtracker. Unfortunately, Afforess or I have a really limited time these days (I work 11h a day and I have no energy to code on my little free time ;)). What is the purpose of the modification MIN_CITY_RANGE?

i just had a idea because i see you are doing a nice job here and fixing alot of problems and add a lot of new things and ideas to increase the fun in game and to make the game more strategic and also more funny and i realy thank you for that i would like that on other games they would have the same posibilitys like what you do here.

so anyway lets speak about the idea i had:
i wanted to ask if its possible to add on the game the possibility that if you produce a soldier in City Berlin for example and you have a population on that Army of 10.000 so you go to fight and this unit die, that you loose also a bit maybe the 10000 or also 5000ppl from the population of the City the unit was produced i think this is realistic and i also think it could be a nice idea to add +1 unhappynes if you lose for example more then 10% of the city population from fighted units.

this is just a basic idea if you think there should be anything else also added feel free to write it here. i think that would make the game much more realistik and you would think more to fight against another country even if its small.

In regards to your first problem if you're on Windows, try to use the Right Click -> Run as Administrator option, I encountered the same issue and that's how I fixed it.

Also, since updating to Rev 958, the AI is substantially better.
