AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

I can't load the Gunship Helicopter onto a super carrier, or a fusion carrier.

As well, it won't load the upgrade, Hybrid Gunship.

I can fly them out to the ship, but won't load, either in the cities.

However they WILL load onto Transports, 1 cargo space.

Its been mentioned that it maybe the advanced cargo mod causing the error?? but where and how??

p.s. City is Haithabu in the Middle North of continent on coast, sign says settle next Great General

Hi, there could be something wrong in your end.. I can load gunships on supercarrier.
I remember that someone else also has this problem but dont know what cause this.
 
Reported this already in Vokarya's building thread: Paved Roads gives +25 commerce (Via Appia bonus mixed up with this I guess). This creates a massive influx of commerce before medieval era, I recommend a quick fix, it's only a simple xml change.

EDIT:

Ok Vokarya answered that this is a planned change, but I've highlighted the problems in the building and trade route discussion. Getting easy access to +25 commerce is just not right. There's some balancing to be done in connections & trade.
 
SVN 985 - Victory at Sea, and worker enslavement.

When you win a victory at sea, and you gain an enslaved worker as a prize, it is situated on the water for the turn of capture, then its 'teleported' to your nearest cultural land mass.

Solution - Have workers automatically bounced to the nearest neutral land or cultural land as is done with war ships, who are bounced out, once the cultural ownership changes hands, which can happen mid turn, when you wear down 1 civs cultural ownership, and a 3rd, neutral civ, gains supremacy, with Influence driven war.

Further, you only have a 10% chance of units surviving the sinking of their transports, when they make it to land, captured workers should go to land 100%, but not on next turn, as you can lose them to the enemy attacks, *Yes it's happened to me.*

Arcology Shielding - Obsoleted by Advanced shielding tech.

Arcology Shielding is obsoleted when you research the Advance shielding tech, the virtually next tech. You also can't build advanced shielding UNTIL The National shield world wonder is built.

Solution - Remove arcology shielding obsolescence and make it a requirement to build advance shielding or the National shield world wonder,
Make the National shield a national wonder and not a world wonder.

Also shielding doesn't show up in the city, where you build the National shield, it also removes the shielding you previously had.

United Nations Voting

With the United Nations Voting, if your General secretary, you can't stand for the next election, that's fine.

BUT if you abstain for voting for a candidate, you WILL be Eligible NEXT round of voting, assuming no one gets enough votes to be voted in. Currently I have enough votes on my own to elect my self, and the other AI's all hate each other enough, that no ones voting for anyone else.

Solution - Since your Ineligible as outgoing Gen Sec to be elected, the next highest votes precipitant if over threshold or not, should be elected, or you can't stand until another is elected.

Cannon Forge not being obsoleted by Arsenal.

The Cannon forge continues to reside in the build list, long after it has been obsoleted by the Arsenal.
A corresponding example would be the Ballsita Turret/Cannon Turret/Gun Turret/Railgun turret line, Where each proceeding build is obsoleted as the new build comes on line.

Solution - Enable the obsolescence of the Cannon forge

*Edit* Actually looks more like a bug, shows in all the cities as a build, the Cannon forge, but you build it, get the notice of it being built, but it doesn't show in the building list, and remains as a building to be built. The Arsenal won't show up at all.

Built it twice in Pisonium, still showing as a build and not in built list.

Just tried an Empire wide mass build, all cities tried to build, all cities said they built it, all cities have it as an available build.

I tried loading your save game and Cannon Forge did not show up on the build list. However, the Cannon Forge was active on the building list. I think the problem is that Omnifactory is not properly replacing Cannon Forge like it is supposed to. I will fix that in my next build.
 
I've just noticed something, my stating scout, as Arabia, has only 1:strength:, but the Civopedia say's it should have 2:strength:

any further builds all show 1:strength: is this correct, or a factor of difficulty or being human player v's AI

Scouts are supposed to have 1 Strength to start, increasing to 2 once you get Archery. The Civilopedia shouldn't being saying 2 until you get to Archery.

We used to play ROM for years in the past (me and my wife) with various issues (OOS) etc. We have just noticed that there is AND 2.0 so we blown the dust of CIV4, installed it freshly together with BTS and 3.19 patch and new AND2.0 mod on our PCs that are in the same room, hardwired with broadband router. Unfortunately we can't see each other in the MP game. We have tried to launch BTS - MP works just fine.
Please - have you any idea what to check to be able to play (we both have quite high spec PCs with W10 and AVG anti virus). Please let me know if I can provide some more infor to help find the problem.

Please help.

LAN option doesn't work AFAIK, use Direct IP. Be warned that you'll probably get too many Out Of Sync after Middle Age. We're working on it. Also, there are other posts in the forum giving some hints about suggested options to avoid OOS problems.
 
SVN 985 Though it says 982?? That's from SVN updating.

Anyway, Scouts are only shown as the relevant strength in relation to your technology level.

Pre Archery, they show as :strength:1, Post Archery, :strength:2.

No notation of why change, or how change, AI's start at 2:strength: at Immortal, as they have Archery, same at Emperor level I think??

Solution - Amend civopedia to reflect the change of Scout strength, pre and post archery. Not just have it change from 1:strength: to 2:strength: with no explanation.

Another thing I'm experiencing, I'm now playing as Arabia, Saladin. I receive a slave worker, every time I win an Offensive /Defensive battle in my territory. Outside of my Territory, its running at 10% I assume, as I've received 1 or 2 workers, and none on many battles.

Only happens in side my Cultural boundary, most strange.

*Edit* Another strange occurrence is when I capture a worker, I get another slave worker as well, a 2 for 1 deal??

i have 2 questions first i want to ask if there is a way to play a started LAN game on direct ip now?

second question is that can it be that the AI after the last patch now is not so aggresive like it was before? they are not attacking me even when they hate me alot and i have lesser quantity of soldiers, or is there another reason?
 
is it possible to fix the problem with the AI with a easy way to say if a AI is unhappy with you he declear the war and he send armys to attack you?

and do the AI trading technologies eachother? ?

I'm not sure I understand your first question. Your second question is yes, the AI's will TT if it's enabled.

with the first question i mean that the AI is not attacking my citys by War time and he is not make some times WAR at all so its just maybe a way to fix that they make war first, as soon as he has a red face to make you WAR, and second maybe a old programming of Civ that he attack the citys.

In the custom games options ( as well as custom scearios). Simply check/uncheck the TT option.
As for your second question, check the Agg AI option, also available in the custom screens. I usually check the Agg AI and the other one ( forgot the name) to make the game a lot more interesting.
 
Ruthless AI, - IT will be less forgiving, more treacherous, it will bride allies into war with you. It wont' forget those slights that you give the AI, such as

"I won't give you a free tech"
"I won't join your war"
"I won't open borders"
"I will now Kneel and kiss your...."

OK last one isn't there, its implied ;)

Beware, ticking both, tends to "dumb" down the AI, as its spends more on war, and less on research/infrastructure.
 
Thank you for the Support, i tested it, and with the aggr. Ai it is much better, they do war, But they not Attack me :///// like it did in the normal bts. He is just Waiting that i come
