A few of you have seen fit to complain about me to Thunderfall (Don't worry, he didn't say who, so your cowardly little act remains safe).

They think I'm a "Bully", or lack "tact".

Well, the fact is, I don't give a damn about them.

My country, and my city were viciously and deliberatly attacked by terrorists, and as I watched, thousands were killed, as well as at least 19 of my friends.

If you can't understand why I'm on edge, I can't help you.

I haven't the time or inclination to listen to anti-US posts or retoric.

The United States of America is at war. This won't be going away by next week, and your hateful comments are most unwelcome. You want to hate the US, that's your buisness.

However, I don't have to read about it here, amoung my many wonderful friends. When I watched the towers fall, I was speaking to Kira, Stormerne, and Shadowdale, all at the same time, and they where trying to help as best they could, because they knew and understood. Many other wonderfull and touching letters from Matrix, Simon, Ghengis, and Willem, so many non-americans, but good, kind, people, and honorary New Yorkers all!

So many good words from the Americans here, like my buddy Leo, and the Hippo man, and Sun, so many others.

Then we come to the vile bunch who thinks this is just another news story to comment on. Some of you don't like the cold reality of what I have been saying, or the harsh way I have been saying it.

To all of you: To damn bad. I watched my friends and countrymen die. This is no game, it's real life, in capital letters. I wrote about it, in my other thread. Read it sometime, and begin to understand why your pettiness was given short shrift by me.

The United States is at war. if you hate us, that's your buisness. But don't expect me to be civil about it. I have seen to much lately.

Keep your BS to yourselves.

God help us all, this whole world.

I live 3,000 miles from NYC.

One of my daughter's best friends, had a 20 year old sister, a college student, thrilled to be working in the WTC as an intern this semester. She'd be there two weeks.

My dad knew one of the passengers on one of the planes.

A former employer of mine, moved it's offices from mid-town to 2 WTC, 93rd floor.

There are hundreds of thousands of people, hoping against the odds, that someone they know or love, will turn up alive, somehow, somewhere. Those hundreds of thousands have friends, in the millions.

This reaches all over the US, and for the friends and loved ones of the English, Japanese, Australian and other nations who's citizens were murdered, it reaches all over the world.

So have some ****ing empathy. We're not in the mood for bullfeathers.

I truely appologize for your personal losses AoA. It was me who complained to TF about you, because I felt violated in my freedom of speach about the matter.

This may indeed not be the good time to rationalize the situation and talk about politics. I am just affraid for a nuclear holocaust.

I also believe that these Islam fanatics should be put to justice.

AoA- I fully support you, just like Israel is fully supporting the US. I was lucky that no one I know was hurt in the terror acts in Israel, but I was still VERY VERY angry about the terrorists. I can only imagine how awful it must be for you to go through this...<br />This attack didn't happen because the US did something, but because the US is the leader of the free world.<br />And I hope the US will not retaliate to this, but that you do whatever you can to prevent this from happening again. <img src="graemlins/snipersmilie.gif" border="0" alt="[Sniper]" />

This is not a time for me to mince words or placate. I can now name three people I know who are dead in this action and believe you me, that only makes the taste of blood in my mouth ten times stronger.

AoA, I wrote Thunderall as well. Although I shall offer no such apology for doing so. I am surprised that someone of your age and wordly experience allows certain juvenile posters here to get under your skin. You should know better. We are all suffering here, not just you. We all died a little on Tuesday morning. Your way of handling your feelings isn't necesarily everyone else's way, and just because we don't show our feelings the same way you have been, doesn't mean we feel it any less.

We had a RED headed Scots/Amercian couple in one of my wargaming groups. He had a bit of a temper and she had a whale of one. After to miscommunication between these two allies result in a fisaco, Mary chewed his ass and then started to stalk off to the bathroom. Hohn said "Don't worry about it boys, you know what they say about red heads and their temper". I, then, at the top of my voice as Mary gets to the bathroom door say " Indeed, but that only applies to natural red heads". We were then treated to an unearthly howl of RAGE from the bathroom. Afterward for the next three games was reintroduced to the concept of jihad, which was my intention all along, as in this particular multiplayer game I had developed a strategy for making grat advantage of a neibhor make fantic hasty attacks into your territory.

I actually think you were fairly patient with some of the more idiotic posters, at least at first. It is true we all need to not let juvenile morons get under our skin - I know I am one that falls into that at times.

HOWEVER - anyone who posts here ought to be able to catch a clue after being mildly rebuffed a time or two, especially under the current situation.

You are not responsible for someone elses' inability to take a hint and back off.

AoA I completely agree with and I want to give you my deepest, most heartfelt sympathies about the loss of your friends. I've broke down a couple times already over this, I can't possibly conceive of losing someone I care about in this tragedy.

AofA: Haven't always agreed with your politics, but this is above all that petty horsecrap, and we know it. This is personal, even for those Americans that cannot name a missing person as one of their friends or family. People that cannot or will not respect that have no place here, in my opinion. I've disagreed with a lot of the hot-heads and they're enraged resposnes....such as SunTzu and his call to turn the M***** F***ing parking lot.

Don't blame anyone for being enraged, but we also must be rational. We must be.

I disagree with a lot both he and A of A have said, but I am just as loyal an American as anyone who posts here.

Quite frankly, your talking through your ass.<br />The people I was harsh with either called for themselves to run to Canada, said that those who wish to fight back are "warmongers" and "Killers", and those that said the US "deserved" it.

I never attacked those who disagreed with me, but those who behaved like jack-asses, and insensitive pricks, and I don't regret it at all. Such people are scum, and there is no middle ground.
