I like reading about [REDACTED] and [DATA EXPUNGED] on the SCP Foundation website. I like the clinical tone. Of all the stand-alone ones, I think the one about the Morrowind mod is my favorite.

I like creepy things, but I suffer from the fact I rarely find things like Creepypasta scary as I'm far too aware I'm reading a fictional story. SCP Foundation does, now and then, do the trick: I liked SCP-087.

Slender Man was mentioned in the OP: I quite recommend Marble Hornets.
