I haven't read it for a while, but I bought a copy of Roger Mellie's Ad Break a couple of years ago. I have it in my office.

I also have the first edition Profanisaurus pamphlet, which came in useful when it turned out one of the girls in the lab didn't know what felching is.

Viz was some of the finest literature ever committed to paper. Sadly, it isn't anymore.

I still pick up a copy from time to time though, out of sheer nostalgia more than anything else. But the great characters and comic strips just aren't there anymore: Baxter Basics ("now slam my knob in the fridge door"), Roger Mellie, Buster Gonad and his Unfeasibly Large Testicles, Cockney Wanker, Finbarr Saunders, Nobby's Piles, Sid the Sexist and others. Only the Fat Slags remain out of the classics and the strip just seems worn these days.

And anyway, why has it become so expensive?

Yeah, all our sexual endeavours are derived solely from the Profanisaurus. When I get home tonight, I'll get my diamond cutter out, get into a bit of double bassing and hopefully finish it all up with a good old bunny rub.

Nah. Read a few issues here and there, really didn't care for it. It's basically an obscene version of the Beano. I've seen some of the older stuff, it was better, but right now it's pretty crap.
