Anyone here like the "Sopranos"?

I think it rules, because it's politically correct. And I like being politically correct. It's a good show and I like it.

Yes, it is a very entertaining, interesting, and occasionally though provoking program. Certainly, it shows the family side of having someone whacked.

The glorification of crime and showing the law enforcement agencies to be pathetic...not too happy about that one myself.



Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino etc all tempt me towards becoming a vigil anti and putting such people into an early grave. Because I enjoy righteous indignation I have of course watched alot of these films

I disagree with some of this, I don't dispute the fact that crime is commonly protrayed as glamourous and brings nice lifestyle, but it also shows the ugly side of it (killing strippers, friends having to kill each other as one turned over to the FBI). And the law enforcement are that incompentant in the show, the new episodes focus quite heavily on the law having an insider in the family and constantly pressuring *this person* into giving them information. I think you'll be surprised by what they will accomplish in the shows last season.

They ripped us off here. they said they would play the new series (probably a year old) but then they play the one from last year. i couldn't be bothered watching the same episodes again, so i'm out of it a bit, but i enjoyed watching it to this point.

Love the show, although it's gotten a bit weak over the last two seasons. Losing Ma Soprano took something important out of the show.

I really like the scenes between Tony Soprano and Dr. Melfi. Very well-done rendition of actual therapy, with enough drama to make it interesting.

The infrequent visits to the Bada Bing Club ain't too shabby either.

And yeah, that is a cool intro to the show...I just wish all Italian women were built like Dre

I have the first two seasons on DVD... and the rest on tape.

While this season was not one of the better ones, it's a great show. I never miss it. I'm looking foward to the next season.
