OK, I am going to do my turn and see if that is hozing it.
Then in about 10 minutes, you try and log in again and see if you can see the leaders, ok?
OK, this sounds like a changed turn or saved game issue.
Guess we'll have to wait till the turn cycles to see if that causes the problem again.
I'll be back this evening to see.

lol, that is what I thought; I just need literal confirmation at times, heheheh.
OK, we know that the new turn cycling is not the problem.
So I am going to bring down the server and restart using a saved file and see if that is the problem.
Give me a few minutes then try again, ok?

I did try to log on now and got contacting timing out. So I couldn't check for the blank leaderscreen as per your last request, Arckon.

Cool, now I am going to save the game again.
This is unlikely to cause it to go bad, but I want to try it.
At this point I am very much leaning to the belief that platfusses setup had so much lag or something that it was corrupting the game.
I have no idea how that can possibly do anything, but both times the game crapped out he had the last turn.
Platfuss, you're a good guy, but please get a faster setup, connection, computer, etc, before trying again, please, very much. I think you said you were in the process of doing this; how long do we have to wait for you to acquire this upgrade?

I also got the connection timing out yesterday, I can't recall off hand which ip I used (Pitboss Launcher).
I'm not sure how long Platt has been using his backup system but if he was using it in the last turns of the old game it should be ok. I'm not sure how any connection problem lag/dropout/power cut could cause a problem on the hosts save ?
One other possible suggestion, check for any Mali style map oddities in the Mongol position & have somebody else test the Mongol position & see if the turn end passes ok for them to make sure it isn't something strange with the position.

I was able to connect. It took awhile to connect, but it eventually did.
