No... Ipods are crap. Why the hell would i need to carry 60gb's of music all the time?

Anyways, I've got about 100gb on a HD (backed up on another HD, no way am i ever encoding my all my cd's again).

I've got a little unknown-brand 512 mp3 player, and I just transfer what I feel like listening for the day.

Ipod = my life

Didn't you mention in a previous thread you don't buy American products?

Anyways, I did get a free 512 mb Ipod shuffle from work about a year ago but I hardly ever listen to it. I don't listen to much music anyways. I turned it in to a USB mass storage device.

I have an ipod, but don't listen to it yet cause all my current favorite songs aren't on there yet. All my friends pirate their music, but I might have to actually go the legal route this time, which takes me more time and money. And I have some blogs on myspace, but Im not a heavy blog user or anything.

Oh I do use my iPod. Eventhough I am an winXP user ;). I have stumbled uppon this personification of the iPod on the internet:

I don't have an ipod, but that's not to say I wouldn't buy one if they got WAY cheaper here in NZ.
I do have a 1GB mp3 player though that I load up my music on and change when I feel like listening to different stuff. Get's used alot as a storage device though for my work and assignments.

No, your point is crap.

iPods come in smaller increments. 60 gig is just the largest.

In my case, 60 gig is great. I have 3 kids and we use the minivan a lot. Its nice to be able to just plug in the iPod and not have to worry about losing CDs, bringing the right ones, etc... Plus, I'm going to put DVDs on it that we can watch in the car. So, I can carry all my multimedia needs for trips on one small device.

But, yeah, you gotta back that stuff up. I have it backed up in 3 places, lol. :)

I have an Ipod Video. I still have a ton of room left on it. I have about 4 gigs of music, 6 gigs of video, and keep adding stuff. I want to use it to work out but first I need to get better headphones.

I have an iPod. I wouldn't say I love it, but I use it fairly often. I am in no way attracted to the teenage fad part of the iPod, but rather because I wanted some sort of mp3 player and Apple is a favorite company of mine. I'm not dissatisfied with it, but I must say I kinda wish I had considered buying from other companies, just to get the best value. And perhaps a better battery.

On another note, I don't know why some people are so vigilantly anti-iPod/Apple. It saddens me a little.

What kind of stuff do you watch on a video iPod? It seems straining to the eyes, and I've heard you can only watch meaningless short clips or commercials for movies you need a TV to watch.

Because it's popular, and some people like hating what everyone else likes. Sort of a non-conformist on drugs kind of thing. Why do you think so many people hate Microsoft?

I don't like that aspect of it either, but I can appreciate the device for what it is: a good mp3 player.

Microsoft's products are the same for me (except for the ones that are crappy anyway, of course).

I have full length DVDs on my Ipod. There is free software that can convert movies you already have to IPod format. In fact the day after I got my IPod I put Team America World Police on it and got to watch it while our school had to sit out in the bleachers during a bomb scare. That made the hour and a half go by a lot faster.

The only portable music device I have is a cassette player that I found in my attic, older than I am.

If I want to here some music while I'm walking around campus or something, I'll whip out my harp.

That is what I thought when they released the iPod video, but then I saw one and I have to say that the size is larger that I previously thought and video quality is really good. I wouldn't use it to watch movies on it, though, but I would watch funny youtube videos (anyone knows how to download them?) TV series or musical videos.

I just relized I do have an MP3 player. Its my PSP.

iPod, yes. We also have a speaker system which comes in real handy on the boat. CD's tend to skip in the CD player on board. I'd love vinyl but it doesn't make sense for our lifestyle.

My girlfriend has an iPod. I find it a good machine. :)

Why exactally are you "sick and tired" of hearing about them Bozo?

Besdies, iTunes is great, why wouldn't anyone use it? (unless they don't like music or audio)
