It's all true !

When is the new Federation capsule going to be launched? And what is it going on? An Angara 5?

Did you buy shares or beer? :)
Never heard about their shares.

Beer. I bought 4 cans this week. It's cheaper and nicer than our average beer. Each can is 900mls. Our local beer is fairly undrinkable now even Budweiser is better.

Prices look correct. Interesting that by this site, crime level in Russia is similar to Australia and NZ and lower than in US, UK and France.

Depends on the crime but I have read that as well.

Crime statistics can be problematic though as due to things like corruption not all crime is recorded or reported.

But yeah Russia has a decent reputation for crime except for certain area which USA for example has.

But yeah you're probably safer in Tehran than New York apparently. Gun crime makes USA one of the more dangerous developed nation's to visit.

From personal experience getting blind drunk here is fairly safe even in our bad areas. Drunk fights happen obviously.

I think we have had 5 tourists murdered in 30 years, 4 if them women so it's not 100% safe here but it's safer than most of the world.

More tourist die in the road, in the water, out in the the wilderness etc.

Trying to convince the wife to go somewhere in the next year or two and Eastern Europe is cheap, USA has random mass shootings a bit to often.

I convert in rough numbers.

Roubles 650 is $10 USD approx which is around $15 NZD.

My ideal plan is Moldova cheap wine to Ukraine to Belarus up through the Baltic Republics to St Petersburg to Moscow down Volga east to Ufa then Trans Siberian to Vladivostok, to Japan fly home.

Avoid winter one year.

Don't know what is their methodology on crime index, from my perspective crime level in Russia is a bit higher than they show and healthcare is a bit better. Healthcare in Moscow/St.Petersburg is quite good even by developed world standards, but in small cities it is much worse. About crime, I think homicide rate in Russia is higher than in Australia or Canada, may be comparable to US or France.

Yeah I knew that. St Petersburg and Moscow are kind of the showcase cities and have the best healthcare.

Remember the scene in "Love Death and Robots", where Red Army soldiers blew up a ghoul hive in Siberia and it collapsed in a huge crater?
This is where it happened:

But if serious, another scary sign of global warming.

It's an excellent photo, but it doesn't show the true power of Nature from that height - how recently unthawed anthrax spores float upwards as the air warms, how they then drift eastwards towards Alaska and down the US west coast.

Really looks amazing , can this mark an impact of a possible meteorite from hundreds of thousands years ago, only recently uncovered by the warming ? If that is so , Russians should send research teams to the site because it looks like Siberia might hold riches beyond those of gas, rope and minerals ;)
