Asserting Dominance: A NESlite Experience

With battle rules as clear as gravy, we decided to peacefully expand rather than wage war.

I'm sure they'll be elaborated on in due time.

Plus, I doubt there will be many fruitful wars until the Iron Age; afterall, with any war you threaten turning any fruitful provinces you capture (green ones) down a peg, costing you another 4 EP to restore.

Thats another good thing about my isolation, I can develop in peace; everything in peace ^^

Not for me. Only 3! :goodjob:

Urbanisation practically pays for itself! :king:

Just hope all those urban territories aren't on the front line ;)

I do find all the 'specialities' are actually quite useful; seafaring has allowed me an early access to nearby territories, so while some of you may just be developing cogs, I got all the nice nearby islands

Yeah.. I can't actually say any are weaker than the others. :)

(Except scientific until people begin investing in tech, and all the pathetic little European nations which chose Seafaring. :mischief:
Despite having the Grecian/Roman/Carthaginian (delete as applicable) lands to expand to.
If I were them, I would've gone Militaristic to steamroller the opposition. ;))

I still am unclear if more than one province is allowed to be conquered from other nations. but if you can, take the brown provinces

Cheers

Orders:
Spoiler :
Hadraak/Eltain
Government: Monarchy
Economy: 6 EP
Trait: Scientific
Military: 1 Warrior Brigades,
Technology: Iron Age (2/75)

6 EP to purchase 6 Warrior brigades.

These units shall use defensive, ambush and guerilla tactics, and use their knowledge of the lay of the land to their advantage. Target stragglers, lonely brigades, and supply caravans. Scout well and rely on the local Hadraaki population to point the Romans in the other direction in times of need.

Another advantage we have, is that we have lost something dear to us. Our relatives, our friends, our neighbors, our lands. Our pets, our ways of making a living, and our dignity. We have been attacked. Perhaps this could rise the local populace to help defend us? Levies. This is the bronze age. Such things were possible! Or give a morale boost.

Not much else to do.

To: Carthage
From: Hadraaki King

We have been attacked, unprovoked, by our northern Italian neighbors- you will be next! Together we can overwhelm them. Please, help us, we are scientific people, not warmongers like the Romans. We can make it worth your while even. Please.
