Asteriod heading for Earth!! NNNNNNNNOOOOOO!!! Were all going to die!!!! AAAHHH!!!

OK, that's great, but do any of you care about the 30th generation????? I for one don't..... I'l be just as dead whether it hits or not.

I find the idea of the world ceasing to exist, even after my own natural death more annoying then if I knew I'd die within one year. Sorry, but I can't share that thought, Globber.

I actually find it quite funny. We've seen Armageddon and Deep Impact (which is much better :p), and there was also some serie about it, and now it appears there actually is a meteor comming in. Ah well, I think that we could even stop it with our current technology, let alone the technology we have over 800 years. There won't be any problem.

By the way, it isn't even as big as that thing that hit mexico 65 billion years ago. So what's the deal? :smoke:

Reincarnationists, eat your heart out.

Y'know, if they discover that that thing is going to hit us, I hope they change it's name to something much more menacing than 1950 DA. That's just not a groovy name for a mankind-destroying rock.

And it looks like that's gonna throw a spanner in the works for anyone thinking about cyrogenic freezing. Imagine waking up in 877 years to that.

I think we should let it hit in the sahara and see what happens  :D

It would be so cool to see a major asteroid hitting in the middle of a large dune.
If technology allows it by then, we should direct it to the sahara :D

Not so fast! We still have Bruce Willis. :D He can drill a hole on that asteroid and detonate a nuke inside.

We are all safe. :D

You too thinked that?

And don't worry about his age... Bruce Willis will always make a comeback,
he just can't be a traitor to his fans...

877 years and 11 months? Unless there are major changes in human behavior before then, in about 877 years and 5 months people will begin to consider taking action.

Nay, by that time we will probably decide taking action is too expensive and just hope it misses. :)

900 years ago, if I'm not mistaken, it wasn't even the time of the crusades yet.
Since our level of technology has been increasing exponentially for quite some time sice then, I'll be pretty dissapointed if in 900 more years we can't beam the thing into the sun, or blast it to smithereens with transwarp modualted anionic tachyon torpedoes or something.;)
Either way, the joke's on me, I'll be dead by then. HA!

Awesome sig!! Ya damn commie...

Juize: thinked => thought :p

And in ther meantime, Q has put us all on trial......crikey! We're in a tight spot!

Geeeees....never seen Starship Troopers? And even if it was Jean-Luc Picard....... let's try aiming a tachyon beam on it for fun :p
