While cool, I think it'd be cooler if they were more aztec themed then mexican themed.

Also agree with that. Civilisations in civilization are based on the "what if" element. so technically the aztecs should not have been mixed with spanish if spanish didn't invade me on my game and so they should look like aztec rifleman instead of mexican ones. but still they are beautiful.
