Behind it all...

The problem everywhere is ego. This is because there can be no ego without guilt. Heroism is simply self justification (although there are true selfless heroes). If we can just get beyond the negative and focus on the positive [the fullness of being, treasuring it], we will exprience true progession everywhere

It's about the separated but still somehow connected experience of universum.

I am the places I have been, the people I have met and visions that have runned through my head.

Thank you for sharing, C~G. Is the feeling space you are conveying the one where, you (as an individual), watch the people kicking the ball on the oval, and upon glimpsing differing expressions of possibility, gradually find yourself, spanning through several layers of the weave and awakening to the sight of surreal omniessence?

I am All that Is...past, present future...

I am feeling you do not prowl in 'the United States', is this right?

Beautiful and aptly put Rambuchan!!!! Great pictures! These pictures embed within the neural pathways, what is 'behind it all'. Excellent idea! Nice ONE! I love the O Key!!!!!! I was wondering how to share my thoughts on ego and fear being none other than I. Everything births from the I within the eye... O KEY

ego = energy (on the) go, as in 'flow'...it is another sacred filament of Divine Beingness...embrace it and watch it fold...the eye blinks, and unfold...the ego continues to flow, another chapter of completeness in this nowness...there is none other than I blinking in this nowhere, now here, know here...child of wonder, wandering in the uni verse of I's love and passion

ego = Egg O
**The Egg of O, ego, is my toy, I observe it curiously with wonderment and awe, as I fling it into the ocean I am...
Do eggs float or sink....perhaps neither or maybe both simultaneously
the O births the egg to go/flow as a waving whole/part of itself, over and over....

The whole paradigm of suffering, pain, misery, fear is one such eggO potential sprouting within a field of nourishment dew to one's chosen focus of attention...

Everything that can be, will be...and Is, all that remains to do is to stay present as the eye blinks a new view. All that is, is now! Fear is another potentiality filament of divinity and is no less sacred than love...

Touch with your awareness that which is within you perceiving these words! If one aligns ones denser awareness threads to the idea of being the orginator of this sea of experience immersed in, gradually the awesomeness of the Infinite Intelligence that One is, will be undeniably evident, leading to the sight of how this (or any) view is shaped to your particular dreaming intent...

The Greatest!!! wow! :)

~ I am Silence

PS

How can there be a greatest? If 'here' there is ecstasy and despair existing in the very same place? Is 'here' the seamless place where black meets white, night and day overlap, and the two exist in totality as individuated and merged expression?

To have a greatest...hmmm, what is that? where does it lay? The greatest in the inspired writing above, is great because of alluding to the inferiority of the opposite condition.

Rambuchan, am I missing something?

Hmmm..."I am silence"...Infinite Intelligence...interesting choice of words.

Originally it wasn't and I didn't understand what I felt. That's why I started seeking answers from different sources.
I felt this profound existential loneliness at first. Then I gradually started understanding how it all happens. I have searched and also found people that have felt the same. Sometimes I recognise these people, unfortunately they don't necessarily understand it.
I have felt very strongly for years that I am just "one of the coals drawn from the same fire".

No, as I mentioned Helsinki, I prowl in Finland.

Helsinki, I hadn't heard of before!

I give 'my' life to the life of the fire....

In my opinion, ego is everywhere. You cannot escape it.
Ego attaches itself into wherever whenever you concentrate it and identifies itself with it.
Fear is the logical consequence of feeling of losing that ego or letting go of it's current condition.
It's easier to live in fear that is known than in fear which is unknown.

Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.

You are missing nothing as far as I can see. These are just problems that we have with words. That is why I appreciate your playful semantics every time I see your posts (i-magi-nation and poli-ticks are my favourites so far :D )

What do we think of when we hear and read the word "greatest"? What associations does it stir into life? Words fail on so many levels and bring so much baggage with them. It is a delight and insight to inspect them. This is why I so appreciate your playing with words.

Do we think of a hierarchy automatically, with a "least" being far away from the "greatest"? If there is a gap between them, do they meet and find themselves equal in some other realm of being and meaning? Is that realm reachable in our minds anytime we want? I say yes!

Maybe we think of glory, maybe with think of greatness in size, maybe we think of the most formidable talent in competition. Or maybe we think of the most limitless power that a human soul can perceive and experience, a feeling and power devoid of all the human constructs imposed by language, that my other definitions allude to. I choose the latter option in this context and make note of the deficiencies inherent in words.

The "greatest" in this verse is that which a soul feels and instinctively knows to be "the greatest". It takes our breath away like no other sensation, thought, entity, experience. When perceived, it gives us wings like nothing else. It releases our minds from the ocean of human experience and meaning. It has the power to lift us up and away from the basic needs and reality we "see" before us, that fetters our minds. It takes us, a drop from the ocean of human experience, and raises us up from it, to afford a wonderful view and vision, drying us of all that wets our real potential. As my pictorial comment in the most recent post indicates, we may seem to have been separated from the ocean of basic humanity. However, that separation, the transition Asimov speaks of in the quote, is but only a momentary glimpse, both eternal and fleeting (time is but a construct too). We need not wait for death to come to feel "the greatest", as Asimov suggests. It is there always, the curtain can be lifted anytime.

We need to take that glimpse as often as possible, while we swim around the ocean of meaning and material existence. Think of dolphins coming up for air and think of there being no sea bed.

Ah, words just do not suffice sometimes.

Words do not suffice! But imagine the greatest...

Imagine>I m a genie

PS The picture above still is gently rippling me...ahhhh, the space cakes too now...lol...could be a great new thread...everyone writes their own versions of what a space cake consists of!

Ah, you're doing it again! :D

Of the two plays you make, I prefer the second rendition of "ego" you offer us. It is how I see things.

Once again, your perception strikes true and clear. You spotted the Egg. :goodjob:

Like all hatchlings, isn't our goal in life to break out of the shell, to free ourselves of the yolk? What might happen if we do?
