I think Hatshepsut is still #1 here even if you ignore UUs entirely.
Pericles has traits that should work so well together but they gimped a potential super-early Great Scientist opening with that awful tech combo. Let's say Pericles is a top choice provided you can settle on coastal ivory next to fish
The Financial trait has been widely overrated, not that it isn't very helpful in the early game. Spiritual is somewhat underrated I think because it only really shines on Deity (or I guess Immortal) where switching religions can keep you alive.
Most underrated trait is probably Charismatic.
