Very few.

Go With the Flow by Queens of the Stone Age was pretty good, but not song of the year material.

My Band by Eminem was good, but horrendously overplayed and relying on humor too much.

Well, "This Love" by Maroon 5 is pretty good.

"Yeah" by Usher is also very good; if only I didn't hear it played somewhere, someplace every 20 minutes....

Then Linkin Park's "Faint" is also great (was that this year?). And there's some more. Eh, I can't really choose one.

This Love is a good song that I forgot. Lying from You has been alot better Linkin Park song that came out this year.

Ah yes, Maroon 5 has certainly been good.

But there' no clear-cut winner right now. No "Hey Ya", "Chop Suey", "Mrs. Jackson", etc. etc.

You're right, aaminion00, there's no clear-cut winner.

But I think I'll give my vote to one of the songs I forgot: "In the Shadows" by The Rasmus. Great song. Oh, and "One Call Away" by Chingy is yet another honorable mention.

Hmm, never heard it (AFAIK).

Best song of the year: "In Da Dome" A parody of 50 Cents' "In Da Club". A song created for the Calgary Flames during their NHL playoffs run. :D (don't have a link :( )

Speaking of that, have you ever heard "In Da Pub" by 50 Pence? Hilarious.

Here's a link to it, in case anyone's curious.

Ya I heard that. I still want to find In Da Dome.

I hated Hey Ya and Mrs. Jackson was medicore at best, IMO.

Do you like hip hop / rap / RnB much at all Archer or are you just not particularly fond of Outkast?

All those songs are non-2004.

Okay, after some serious thought...

From: Jay-Z's Black Album:
"Public Service Announcement (Interlude)"
"Allure"
"Lucifer"
"What More Can I Say"
"My 1st Song"

OR

Any song from OutKast's "Speakerboxxx-The Love Below" (if you want to count it as 2004)

OR

Alicia Keys' "You Don't Know My Name" (This girl has got some skills)
