Best Big 5 US Network?

I thought NBC was the network that showed the Office? It also has SNL.

On FOX, I watch House, and the odd family guy episode. Outside of sporting events, I don't watch TV much.

Best US TV Big 5 Network?

What do you think is best, and why?

I'd go with FOX. They have a great line up of shows, though they tend to cancel most of them ...

And to think, you parade around OT telling us about all the spam and useless things we post! I suggest you practice what you preach, and stop spamming, since you seem to be so set against it everywhere else in OT.

Sorry if you think this thread was spam, because it certainly was not.

Forgive my ignorance but where does HBO come into this? I thought they were a TV network also?

At Sidhe and others who voted BBC. BBC is generally awful at anything other than nature programming and the odd documentary. ITV makes better dramas and Channel 4 is the more watchable because it buys everything in from the US that's worth watching.

I don't have Sky at the mo but aside from 24 and now Lost, they've got zip.

As the title says, it was a poll between the US TV Big 5 TV Networks.

HBO is a cable channel, not a TV Network ... and BBC and Sky are British TV channels, not US Networks.

Well now you've used bold it's all become clear.

Given that I'm not a US citizen I've no bloody clue which channels are cable or Networks. I was simply asking. Thanks for clearing it up though.

As far as BBC and Sky are concerned I was merely replying to other posts. Apologies for dragging this serious and non-spammy thread off topic.

:hatsoff:

No problem, but that subtle sarcasm is not needed.

CBS!!! Speaking as a non-american, David Letterman and Craig Ferguson are hilarious, and the fact that they post some of their clips on youtube.

I only watch Comedy Central, and usually the Daily Show. (Which Network is that? Or is it one itself?)

But I have to get them from my aunty Ms. Torrent who religiously tapes every episode and sends them to Jolly Holland :mischief:

And discussion of bitTorrent, even if it is thinly veiled is not allowed on these boards. Don't do it again.
