BirdNES 3: Discussions & Questions

I've been spending my evenings and weekends moving my MiL's stuff out of her apartment. She will not be gong back and with it we were paying for three living spaces: her apartment, her current assissted nursing room and an assisted living space she will go back to soon (we hope). We terminated her lease for June 15th and had to get everything out by this Sunday. We brought the last of her stuff to our house tonight and just have to clean up the space this weekend. At a slower pace we have to divide what we have here among her five grandchildren and three daughters and sent it off to them. ATM it is all piled in our living room.

I've been working on the update when I have had time; East Asia is done, India is done, and I'm working on Safavids now. My goal is to get it finished next week once the apartment is out of the picture.

I can't even remeber what I sent in my orders anymore!

I may be resurfacing... may be...

I see that the Most Serene Republic of Venice is noticibly free...

I have been working on it, but slowly because my time has been limited. It will happen. I appreciate everyone's patience.

Take your time!

I apologize for not getting Obama's autograph while in DC. He had to meet this unimportant official from this small tiny country to discuss another really small country.

The President of South Korea or something :mischief:

I hope your trip was fun and interesting Alex.

Any more word on the update? I sent in my orders two months ago now.

Beej has a very busy RL, let him get on with it.
I know he would love to be free enough to be here instead, but RL calls, and its up to him to step up to the plate.

Abbadon is right. RL has taken a couple unexpected zigzags that cannot be sidestepped and while I am able to park myself at CFC for long periods, I really only keep up with trying to mod as necessary. I have not abandoned this NES, but it must take second place to more pressing matters that are not trivial and require ongoing attention.

That's fine. Just wanted some confirmation that the NES wasn't utterly dead.

Good luck with your RL stuff!

It is not dead at all, I just am struggling to concentrate on it for more than a few minutes at a time. I know what it is like to wait for an update that seems unlikely, and I appreciate everyone's patience. :)

We stand by you! :D
