Bizarre Coincidences

This thing happened to me twice in highschool, with the exact same person - a guy we used to call Jesus (he had long hair and was a badass, it seemed to fit)

I picked up my phone cause I wanted to call him.. and.. there's no dial tone.. nothing.. silence. So I say "hello?" thinking that someone in the house had the phone picked up. And what do I hear? It's Jesus saying: "Hey man, what's up?"

I must have picked up the phone RIGHT AFTER he called me, but before the phone had a chance to ring. This happened twice. The weirdest part is that I called this guy from time to time - but he wasn't my best friend or anything.. I called a whole bunch of people more often than I would him. I was convinced the guy had superpowers.

That's happened to me a lot. :yup: The thing is, the ringer on the receiving phone and the ring the caller hears are not always in sync.

My cousin and her boyfriend finally moved out after living like two years with us. My sister told my cousin's sister the good news, but she never texted back.

The weather was very nice earlier today, but suddenly it got all stormy...

...So my cousin's boyfriend joked that it was because my cousin's mom must be coming out to Vegas.

One time I dreamed about finding something in a book. A week later, I found that something in a book, and it was the exact book I dreamed about. I don't remember what the "something" or the book was.

EDIT: I should mention I knew what the book was, but I'd never read it before.

Page Numbers?

I had the most vivid dream I've ever had about the space shuttle blowing up.. so vivid it made me jump out of bed as soon as I woke up, and tell all my friends about it online.

Two days later the space shuttle blew up.
Something vaguely similar happened to me in high school.

A week before the Columbia disaster, I heard that a teacher and a foreigner were going up in the shuttle. It was the first time a foreigner from that particular nation was going up. Somehow, I concluded that because of that "historical" mission, something bad was gonna happen.

Lo and behold, a week later, the shuttle breaks up during re-entry.

Back in the 70's. A friend and I were driving north on the 405, south of Los Angeles. It was early twilight, and to the north we saw a tremendous UFO. We stared at it for over 10 minutes until we reached our exit. We could see the drivers around us noticing it too. It was like a vast rainbow, except pointing straight up and down and tied in a knot in the middle. From it's barely perceptable movements as we drove, I estimated it to be several miles from top to bottom. It was in the LA Times and all the news media next day, but noone had an explaination. I eventually forgot about it.

Years later, in the 90's, my UFO was in the National Geographic Magazine. It seems that Vandenberg AF Base used to launch test missiles out towards Guam, and the exotic chemicals in the rocket exhaust, illuminated by the setting sun and twisted into odd shapes by the winds at different altitudes caused the phenomena.

Or at least that's what I the US government They want you to believe...

Post your bizarre coincidences here for all to hear and enjoy!
Yesterday I received a random new PIN # in the mail for my new debit/ATM card (the old one was lost so I canceled it) and the new PIN was the same # that I always use & would have changed it to anyway, the chances of this are 1 in 9,999 (assuming the new pin can be ANY four digit number).

I dreamt about load of skinheads going to the graveyard. Made no sense to me. Three days later, a skin dies in a street fight and every football/skinhead fan went to his burial. I know, because I live near the local graveyard and the bus line was chock full.

I was having dinner with my dad's family and the subject went from Palestinian / Israeli violence to west / arab clash and my uncle says, "you know, I can feel it... something evil is going to happen, not there, but here."

That was on Sunday, September 9th 2001.

When I was a kid I went to a summer camp called 'camp courage' in Minnesota. When I got there I was overcome by the most powerful sense of deja vu I've ever had. Not from something that happened, it was the whole place. The entire camp was as if my ten year old self had been there before. It was like I knew many of the people who worked there. I felt this despite all logic to the contrary and didn't tell anyone.

Everyone else had brought sleeping bags, but my parents hadn't sent me with one because it had said we would be sleeping in cabins. 50 degree fahrenheit cabins at night with one sheet!! No one noticed & I had my own problems. I did manage to make good friends with the kid on the bottom half of the bunkbed though.

Each night it seemed colder and colder until one morning I woke up nice and toasty warm. But I should have been cold. Had one of the councilors finally noticed & thrown a blanket over me? No. I was inside a sleeping bag, even though I had been asleep the whole night. I realized with a sinking feeling that it was my lower bunkmate's sleeping bag. Slowly I inched my head over the edge of the mattress & sure enough there he was, small and blanketless and shivering!

Then I had to climb down, wake him up and give him his sleeping bag back. He had one of the most perplexed looks you could possibly imagine on his face. I confirmed with him later that he too had been asleep the whole night.

So to summarize for the kids at home, yes, I somehow took someone out of their sleeping bag without waking them up while I was sleepwalking. Someone else in the cabin told me that I went in the bathroom in the middle of the night and that I was talking!

I'd pay a lot of money to see how I pulled that off.

Yeah I know its not really a coincidence, but I bet you enjoyed reading huh?

One day, while consuming Chinese food, I was talking about how any money I made from eBay was to be poured into the stock market, so as to give me a steady source of dividends revenue, which could be used to further expand my holdings or go into retirement.

...I then opened the fortune cookie and it said, "You will have more luck in real estate than in stocks." And I'm all: "FUUUUUU!!!"

My father went to Australia on business. As he was going up an escalator in Adelaide, trying to stave off the jet lag, he saw going down the other side an old school friend of his who had emigrated to Australia as a teenager around 30 years previously.

I had a dream of a bridge collapsing and killing a few people.

Lo and behold, days later that Minnesotan bridge collapsed.

My "coincidence" was similar to the OP.
I was having a party in Syria, and, being slightly drunk, I was having fun making arab-patriotic toasts, like "for the unity of arab fatherland" and so on.
But one of my toasts was "for a bloody head of Ariel Sharon".
3 days later or so he got a stroke, his head was indeed "bloody".
To make it even more peculiar, in a certain talk, at this party or earlier, I do not recall, a Syrian friend of mine actually wished that Ariel would remain in a vegetable-like condition. And so it became.
Anyway, some urged me to make a similar toast about Bush (a request which I denied), and we had some talk about me having psychic wars against the dark might of Olmert,
but while I know I couldn't have caused anything, I felt a bit bad about the incident.

Another one:
I decided to call my friend, with whom I didn't have any contact for like 2-3 years. She was very touched that I "remembered about her birthday". I did not, I didn't know the date at all, I've never been to any birthday party of hers or anything, but strangely I called her on this very day.

Similar one was that another friend asked me if I know her birthday. I did not. I've met her on summer holidays and later on studies, so, while I reaaally like her, my knowledge of her is very limited. I said I didn't know, but I made a random number and told it - and it was true.
But perhaps she's told it to me once and it was kept in subconscious part of my mind.

Another one:
There was a friend I reallly liked. After coming back from abroad after over a year, I decided to call him, which I, also, haven't done since 11 months. The talk was a bit strange. When I've opened my mailbox, it turned out that he's just e-mailed me (which he haven't done in 9-10 months), so he believed I called him because of this mail.
We just happened to think of each other at the very same moment.
