Winter 2001 Builds Due: Wed, 7:00 PM EST

does build order have to be that long....

Lurkerize: My memory's a little fuzzy - haven't played the game since high school - but as the Dover fleet in bre moved there from pic, shouldn't they have control of both Supply Centers?

Anyway, I'm still wondering why I was unable to move to stp. My Norwegian fleet was nowhere near the guys invading. I attacked along the northern border with stp, where MjM had no military presence.

I'll understand if it's a wierd rule, but logically, it makes no sense.

@the lurker: You total supply center counts at the end of Fall. If you occupy somewhere in Spring but move out of it in Fall, that means you don't get control of it.

It's how one of the Lepanto strategies works (I forget what it's called. I think it involves Italy moving through Austrian lands, or vice versa).

If you're confused by the coast thing, all of Stp is one point. An army on Stp covers all of Stp, including the north coast and south coast. Even a fleet on the south coast will protect Stp from an enemy fleet going for the north coast.

how many people did not turn in orders blade??

darn :3, oh well, guess ill have to wait until tomorrow XD

Yes, but there was NO ARMY THERE.

Yes, but there was NO ARMY THERE.

I know, but that's how the rules of Diplomacy work. It's stupid, but meh.

It's like Spain. Spain has two coasts, but a fleet on one coast can block military action on the south end, despite the fact that they'd never even come within sight of each other. Meh.

Edit: Upon looking at the moves more, here is how it works:

Two armies can't trade places.

His A(StP)-Nwy and your F(Nwy)-Stp/nc "cancel" each other out.

However, he had support with F(Swe) S F(StP)-Nwy and so his "strength" of 2 overpowered your "strength" of 1.

Its okay iggy XD, you're still not dead yet XD

I'm almost as bad. I have no hope for expansion, and my rival is now richer than me.

I completely know what you mean. This calls for some diplomacy!

psst: I COMPLETELY saw Carthage coming. I also though Dover would NEXT turn, not this turn.

if you stay alive for 2 years, i "might" come and save you
