Blood donation: what do you think about it?

I don't wanna donate blood. Don't know why, I just don't wanna.

I did donate blood a few times, and I think I'll do it again. I'm ceratain that donating blood can safe lives and IIRC it's even good for your own health so why not? I hardly noticed the needle when they took my blood the first time.

I've donated a few times, once was even at a blood drive sponsored by my church. I don't see any religious reason not to donate, as it's a purely altruistic act. Although until about 100 years ago, we didn't know we had to match blood types, and receiving a stranger's blood was extremely hazardous. Mismatched blood will kill you very quickly.
