NOTE: Special thanks to Tom2050 and Vuldacon for creating the Banzai Victory sound. Check it out in game! I think you'll like it! :)

I love the way this one turned out. It's great to see some more faces on your excellent animations as well. :love:

What would be the correct uniform for the 1930s-1940s? :blush:

Bonne chance. I consider myself a damned good researcher and I just spent an hour Googling without result, although I deduce from my searches that your best bet would be one of the Osprey books on the subject.

Oh yeah - and a mighty fine unit BTW. :D

Best,

Oz

Great series so far, I assume "world" means not only Europe... I hope to see some Chinese, Japanese, Siamese, and African units.

Thanks ShiboKobbure! Do you have any picture sources with Foreign Legion of the 1920s-40s? I'd like to make a FFL from that period.

What the heck, this FFL guy is carrying a Lee Enfield! What's up with that? I didn't think the French and the Brits co-operated that well... :eek:

This man belongs to '13th Demi-Brigade de Légion étrangère (13e DBLE)' which is a unit of the Foreign Legion, free french army with french and english equipment. In 1942 these men were part of the garrison at Bir Hakeim which stopped the German-Italian forces for several weeks in the desert before the battle of Tobruk

Very nicely animated. Nice work.:goodjob::)

Don't forget that if the French got their arse spanked by the evil Germans, it's because we fought WWII in a WWI style...

So the WWII uniform are in fact entre deux guerres... We were just a bit late to adjust!

The uniform is correct, the rifle not so, as before WWI they would be equipped with French rifle.

We got plenty of English, and also US, weapons and gear later.

Thanks Badkharma! And thanks ShiroKobbure for a perfect sample pic. I couldn't ask for a better illustration! Off to work I go, hi ho, hi ho!
