Whats wrong with a Comanche, Anasazi/Hoho'kam, or Sioux? Comanche had the largest empire in North America of any native civ. Anasazi built a mini-empire with a bunch of cities dependent on a fairly large city in Chaco Canyon. Sioux I would enjoy less so, but are still interesting for a Western Audience

We have a lot of Native Empires in the game already. I just want to see another contries in the game and not another "empire" for the american audience.

I'm not really sure how many people there are with an interest for Native American culture outside the US and UK.
I get the feeling people in countries that didn't have anything to do with Indians don't really care about them and would prefer some other civ, I honestly doubt there are many people in the UK or France who're really interested in them.

I'm willing to bet that sales in the US are of primary concern to 2k, though.

Ok, then whats wrong the Comanche or Anasazi then? Both of which had their own "empires" "coutnries" that were fairly significant for their region.

But that's just it, who warrants inclusion is all subjective. How many Americans or Canadians were that invested in Poland making an appearance? All that should matter is whether a Civ adds flavor, covers a geographic gap, had historical significance, or brings a new play style. Several American civs, both North and South, can cover all those categories.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. We've got the Iroquois, and that's the only native civ we have from the US

Nothing wrong with them, just sayin that we already had a lot of Native Empires and all of them were fairly significant for their region.

A lot, you mean only a few? Only 4 in the whole Americas...

Not sure where you are going with this

There are thousands of years of history in the Americas

Quick thought, has anyone checked the CS list in game since the hotfix? If Warsaw's gone then we can get some clues as to what's in and out by which CSs have been removed or added.

Ok then how about Tiwanaku, Chachapoya, Mapuche, Tupi, Olmec, Veracruz, Toltec, Carib, etc. Would you be fine with any of those. I honestly have no idea where you are going with this "country" thing.

Doubtful, they wouldn't remove the city states with a Hotfix to Gods and Kings as Gods and Kings would still be able to played without the new expansion so there would be no need to remove the city states.

That's why he have more European civs then out of any other region, right?

Just an advice: Maybe you should post something about those tribes other then their names, because to most people those are just names of tribes they know nothing about.
Maybe name some of their achievements just so that we understand why they should be in other then the need to satisfy Americans with another tribe from their continent.

I really hope you are right. Belgium already has 2 City-States, which is more than some continents.

More than that, I do hope there isn't a lot of Ancient/Classical civs. Those Siege Towers look as dangerous as those Battering Rams, while there is so few unique features in the later eras.

Isn't that the problem? After the Medieval era, there are very, very few civs outside of Europe that could compete with them. Of the few that could, countries such as China, Japan and Korea are already in the game and have UAs/UUs/UBs that mostly reflect their medieval and earlier prestige.

It's going to be odd if we have mostly African/Southeast Asian/New World civs and all of them are medieval. Most are going to have to be ancient/classical.

In Civ 5 right? Just sayin that i prefer another contry, not Apache, Comanche, Sioux AGAIN in civilization!

You mean like the Zulu being in every single Civilization game* in history?

* - Main series only. Alpha Centauri and Colonization games not included

Tupi Guarani, Tapuias, Aruaques, Caraíbas, Tupinambás, Ticuna, Cainguangue, Macuxi, Terena, Guajajaras, Ianomâmis, Xavante, etc, etc..

Have you seen one of them in civilization? Thats my problem. Another North american native in civilization, another great contrie out.

You do realize what you are implying right? That any N. American Civ is not worthy to get in?

I want to see the Anasazi. For how many civilizations are included from Europe, 2 whole American continents get less than half that number.
