eh I trust the leaks. This xpac has 2 dark horses.
is Venice really a darkhorse? we've been talking about them since it was announced.
Shoshone is a darkhorse, and i gladly welcome them if they're in.

The Poles were also saying something about a Crossbowman. I think they were talking about Venice. I'm not sure if that was knowledge or speculation either.
Will anyone be disappointed if turns out be the Shoshone?
I wouldn't mind as I wanted a Plains/Western tribe. However, the Shoshone are very unknown compared to the Sioux, Shawnee, or the Pueblo. If they choose Sacagawea to lead I see them giving her credit for helping in an expedition that led to the expansion of the United States. I can't see it being justified. She seems to be the only known figure of the tribe. It could just be me. For all I know, the Shoshone are very well known among the forum.
Shoshone seem like a decent enough choice, as long as they come with an actual leader and not some not-even-remotely-a-leader woman only famous because she helped the US.

Don't forget Wilma Mankiller, a particularly good chief of the Cherokee (admittedly in the 1980s, though).
For what it's worth, this link (sorry to pick such a depressing link), the Shoshone used tomahawks and bow and arrows.
Shoshone would be a disappointment, as would Pueblo. I rather see Sioux, Apache, or Cherokee since these Indian tribes are actually more prominent and remembered by history.
probably a Genoa crossbowman
^^ What Gucumatz said (EDIT: What said two posts above, that is)
Pueblo's influences still run deep in parts of Colorado today
